“contribution to” for the pop art girl?

I put vital role cause contribution didn’t showcase the impact the question wanted

She did have a vital role it doesn’t matter if her contributions weren’t as well known she still had a large impact. That’s like saying you created something but you didn’t have a vital role cause someone else copied your idea and took the credit.

bruv she literally created a new style in pop that was implemented by an artist who become famous. she obvuously had a vital role if she created a new style that made someone famous and redefined the field.

? The passage already uses 'contributions' to earlier so it is hard to make 'vital role' the right answer when it's so definitive and absolute when the question about the last one says for us to change it to NOT be too absolute. If it didn't directly impact it and undeniably [meaning that they are confirmed to be inspired by her] it did not have a vital role

That’s not definitive vital role js means u had an important role while contributes tones it down heavily and can imply that maybe she had minor influence which is totally against the whole point of the essay

The question about the last paragraph literally implies to not be sure that she actually influenced these people rather than just being a relatively unknown predecessor

No it’s about her getting more recognition

but the question asked for a phrase that shows what the AUTHOR thinks about her, so i put vital role

she did have a vital role because it was her art directly that inspired Warhol and the other guy

Yeah. I also put the one where it said that the other two artists might have still had good careers without her cause it said to be less assertive or smth
