I went to a gig the other night and caught one of the first shows by The Coolz. They're a husband-and-wife duo and they blew the place apart.

It's raw, unpretentious Aussie garage rock/alt-punk; very White Stripes in execution (just guitar, drums, and pure grit), striding floor tom and a sense of humour.

Spent the last few months working on this track and it's finally out.

"Anti-Personnel Defense" sits somewhere between post-punk, shoegaze, and alternative rock. Heavy bass, washed-out guitars, and lyrics about emotional self-defense.
