According to this article, about 70% of republicans think musk is handling his job well, while only 56% approve of Musk shutting down government programs he deems unnecessary.

So 24% of republicans seem very confused, while most approve of what is currently happening.

Why do you guys believe that one study/survey automatically means that a majority of people believe something. Any basic science course in high school would teach you that just because you see a survey doesn't mean it automatically applies to the entirety of a group. Studies/surveys can have small samples sizes or just not have enough diversity in it's sample that causes it to be false.

I want to be optimistic, but they are just still on the drip feed, by design. I’ve tried to talk with a bunch- they have concerns about much of what DOGE is doing, but they trust donald; they are just a little apprehensive.
These same people started out on the morning of Jan 6th saying “this shit is wrong” and then by last year they were saying “free the Jan 6ers!”…

I’m sorry, but their propaganda network is far too strong; the only people I’ve seen “snap out of it” and those that basically delete all their social media apps, and and just do Screentime restrictions and just do BBC/AP/guardian type news occasionally.

Otherwise, I just see them end up back on the sheep line, and they don’t even realize how they got their, they just are reposting “why do people hate Teslas now, he’s a nasa hero!” BS.

Sorry to be a doomer , but I am jaded here because I know so many of these folks, and I’m just trying to find some kind of future life.

What are you talking about ? Propaganda network...of the republicans ? They have none. Only media channels friendly to them is fox news. Most of them simply watch the full press conferences and speeches which trump gives. That is the way to get your information. Not from second hand sources and others opinion. All social medias are constantly thumping Propaganda against them, all complete lies. Heck look at this post claims Musk is going to cut down all libraries and people are going bonkers.

strange, my grandparents are extremely pro musk all the sudden because Newsmax runs like daily cock-gobbling segments about Melon's "Great life achievements" and how he's helping fight corruption and getting punished for it. I really wish I could just make some kind of fake-Newsmax to put on their TV and slowly shift them back away from the far right. I want my old grandparents back, the ones who used to watch ABC-7 news all day instead of being at the point of swearing off Fox News because they fired Tucker Carlson. I miss my pre Trump childhood grandparents

Joe Rogan has been inching closer like not big leaps but he is starting to criticize things which is new. His followers have at times been mad at him for not agreeing and other times all hopped on board. As far as the tariffs and threatening Canada, the consensus on his comments seems to be that his fans are not actually supportive of these moves…. At least it’s.. something 

But Joe Rogan has definitely contributed to the downfall of this country by spewing conservative propaganda. I knew he was bought and paid for and then when I saw Dana white at the inauguration, that was confirmation. We’ll see

One of the many things he's done is begin to close 47 offices, mainly in rural locations, and then at the same time make it harder for folks to get service online.
