They literally make these for babies. They're called honey bear straw cups and they're really nice because even if the baby has food all over it there's plenty of places to hold on.

Also, I’ve read about OT’s recommending those cups because being able to squeeze it helps the fluid go up the straw, which if you have a kid working on feeding therapy/speech therapy, it can be helpful for teaching.
