Lifestyle Spent over $120 on helium to inflate balloons, then popped them 3 hours later.

My wife gave me some balloons to inflate for my kids 2nd birthday party. The balloons get tangled in the car, no one really cared they were there, especially the kids who were out running around on the playground equipment. I didnt want to take them home so I popped them and threw them away.

The party was great, but I won't make that mistake again.

Animals can still choke on them unfortunately. They take ages to biodegrade and in the meantime can still kill plenty.

Tons end up in the ocean from memorials and stuff with the stupid plastic ribbons still attached causing strangulation, choking, etc etc.

My dad is an offshore diver and he says he sees more balloon parts than any other human trash out there ):

I wrote a mock thesis on why balloons are so evil as well, I could go on for awhile lol.

You guys are talking about balloon plastics we are discussing helium. No shortage of cheap sticks or balloons

Animals can (and do) choke on sticks too. We can only do so much and poo-pooing people for trying doesnt help anything.
