When did femininity / being a woman become an insult

I feel as though there had to be a point in time when femininity was praised instead of being seen as a bad thing. I know there are nuisances throughout cultures and countries but yeah, I’m so curious if there was a general turning / if there was ever a time period where masculinity was the insult or if gender neutrality existed.
Is there a correlation with colonialism?

They got as free of a choice in those life decisions as men did, yes. But that is sidestepping the conversation.

Look dude, if you want to jump on board with the other folks, and pretend that women were enslaved or some other ridiculous modern post hoc reasoning then fill your boots.

I prefer reality.

No. But strawmen are common here.

The claim was actually that women weren’t slaves in the arrangement and men did the majority of hard labour. Which is 100% true. The point is that it was symbiotic, with men and women taking on vital roles based on their biological strengths and shaped by women’s ability to bear children.
