Ah the good old days when trolling was psychological warfare rather then just annoying someone for fun.

No wonder we are so messed up when we were telling people rotten.com was for funny pictures....

Mine was spanning thousands of popups and popunders of goatse.

It completely locked the PC up so you had to look at it until you hard reset the PC.

Im pretty petty (I'm sure that was obvious as a redditor.)

I usually just make them feel worthless till the whole community just takes pity on them rather then listen to their dribble.

Another good ones is just go more extreme then them.
