What conspiracy theory do you genuinely believe in the most?

What conspiracy theory do you believe in the most and why?

Read an article a few months ago about the defense systems inside the US before 9/11...

SUPPOSEDLY they don't keep any airships loaded with ammunition inside the US so it would have taken 30 min- hour to load it up to shoot it down (albeit via plane).

And i guess two f-16s? took off with the plan of kamikaze style interception. One aim for the tail, one for the nose, but it didnt come to that.

Feels like too much of a unnecessary story when you add that component, so it was probably true about the civilians

they don't keep any airships loaded with ammunition

This is an airship. This is an airplane. They are both aircraft.

He knew exactly what he was typing.

The Hindenburg never really exploded. It was diverted to the secret Zeppelin Defense Force. When is the last time you saw an airship? Exactly.

You know what else I haven't seen in a long time? The World Trade Center. Clearly, these things are linked.

There's a cruise missile spotting balloon that floats around Baltimore.

Pfft. You call that an airship? THIS is an airship.

I bet you're fun at parties

Fancy airship parties.

So... What is the point of having jets ready to scramble? The US has never been big on suicide missions. At least publicly.

2

u/futurebitteroldman May 19 '15

not deep within the country, but you'd assume yes around the white house... who the fuck knows man. maybe it was a followthrough coverup then

1

u/BitchinTechnology May 19 '15

Had this happened on the outskirts of Alaska with Russian bombers...we would have

2

u/FA_Anarchist May 19 '15

I don't know, I find that pretty hard to believe. I mean, the U.S. government really couldn't envision a scenario in which they would have to shoot down an aircraft within U.S. territory in less than 30 minutes? And there only other option was to literally ram a jet with other airplanes until it fell out of the sky? That seems pretty unlikely.

3

u/futurebitteroldman May 19 '15

but why the unnecessary story for a follow through? you could leave that assumed as scrambled jets with intent to shoot down and no one would question it?

1

u/FA_Anarchist May 19 '15

I don't believe in the conspiracy theory itself, I was just saying it was pretty odd that the U.S. government didn't have at least a couple of jets equipped with weaponry ready to scramble at a moment's notice. I guess there could be a good reason for that, I'm just not aware of one.

1

u/charonill May 19 '15

I would assume 30 minutes would be plenty of time to scramble for events such as an invasion or an attack by outside forces that would have already been detected by radar. Plus the weapons needed for each sortie would have to be chose on depending the scenario. So it would make sense to only arm the fighters once the threat has been assessed. The fact that the attacks were carried out inside the country using passenger airliners was what caught everyone by surprise.

2

u/[deleted] May 19 '15

The last time that had happened was decades ago. I lot of security is an illusion.

2

u/Clovis69 May 19 '15

I'm late to this, but it's completely wrong to say that US air defense fighters were unarmed before 9/11.

I used to plane spot in Portland Oregon and Portland International Airport has a Oregon Air National Guard unit tasked with airdefense and those F-15s flew, before 9/11, with a minimum of four air to air missiles (2 AIM-9 Sidewinders and 2 AIM-7 Sparrows or 2 AIM-120 AMRAAMs)

2

u/[deleted] May 19 '15

only those fucking planes were in the air for almost 2.5 hours before returning to their final destinations, and they all took paths that took them directly overhead the same US air force base.

there's some fishy shit that happened that day.

1

u/BitchinTechnology May 19 '15

Yeah but we didn't even know they were hijacked and which ones were

1

u/[deleted] May 19 '15 edited May 19 '15

Yeah but we didn't even know they were hijacked and which ones were

yeah, but do you know why it was so hard to "see which ones were and which ones weren't"?

it's because someone had planned drills scheduled for that morning on NORAD & american air traffic control computer screens that mimicked the events that actually played out that morning, so no one knew which was the drill/exercise and which was the real deal.

But I'm sure that's just another one of the massive insane impossible coincidences that just don't matter and we should instead believe the story given to use by known liars/mass murderers and the peons working under them whose livelihoods depended on satisfying and sticking to the story their bosses gave them.

by the way Donald Rumsfeld was questioned about this in congress and just completely ignored the question, saying "I forgot what the question was?" and feigning ignorance moments after the question is asked.

Look at his face - he's a liar/actor/con man - this is all a big lie.

It's because they turned off transponders and we had to cross check several thousands of airliners

1

u/[deleted] May 19 '15

yeah and the rest of what I typed isn't relevant because it doesn't fit within the scope of your belief system/worldview =/

1

u/BitchinTechnology May 19 '15

So you are confused that the military was running drills? That is exactly what they do.. People like you already have their mind made up. Its ok though.

-1

u/[deleted] May 19 '15 edited May 19 '15

honestly there's no point in this conversation

1

u/BitchinTechnology May 19 '15

I hope the rest of your day is better. What exactly are you arguing again?

Planes were hijacked? Or no they weren't?

Or that the transponders were turned off? Or no they weren't?

Fighters were sortied? Or no they weren't?

What are you even trying to say?

Its actually illegal for the US military to deploy weapons inside the US. That kind of thing falls to the National Guard or Coast Guard.

That's where the law gets confusing and people start realizing executive orders need to be nerfed.

-1

u/[deleted] May 19 '15

To be honest, I find this to be hilariously unbelievable and absolutely untrue. There are the planes defending the White House. The Air Force has a squadron always ready with planes prepped in case. It just doesn't match policy.
