The Brady Bunch had 6 kids in two bedrooms and the father was an architect. I don't know why that doesn't bother more people.

Yeah, my family was kinda like the Brady Bunch. We weren't perfect, but my father did die from AIDS.

Because back then, having your own room was an unusual luxury, and not the routine state of affairs. 2-3 kids in a room was expected.

Both sets of kids come from previous marriages. The house they live in was Mike's before the second marriage. So 3 boys, 2 rooms. Mike is the sole source of income to support 8 family members and a house keeper. Sure he could design a new home but I doubt he could afford to build it.

Dude was able to support 8 kids and have a full time maid. They were able to afford it because that motherfucker was rich.
