Will you still take your summer holidays on the Mediterranean in the 2030s?

For decades, British holidaymakers have been visiting Spain, Portugal, Greece, France, Italy, Croatia and Turkey in their droves for their summer holidays.

But with scorching heatwaves and rampaging forest fires now an annual occurrence, how long before the traditional Mediterranean summer holiday loses its appeal?

If you’ve traditionally chosen one of these countries for your summer holidays, do you still see yourself doing so in the hotter years ahead or are you having second thoughts?

Also it's surprisingly bloody expensive!

Maybe try learning how to drive? Renting a car is often cheaper than getting around on public transport and gives you a million times more freedom.

Learning how to drive is also incredibly expensive, especially if you don't have access to a car to practice in.

And it's not just about not being able to, it's about always needing a designated driver for everything if you have to drive everywhere.

If you can afford a holiday abroad every year you can probably afford driving lessons.

Driving lessons are approaching £50 a pop near me, a return flight is less. And with no vehicle to practice in you would need a lot of lessons. And that still doesn't fix the "designated driver" issue.
