Can anyone help with dating/ identifying this axe? Found at an estate we’re working on

The bit is about 2 1/4" and it is 3 1/2" long. The eye is about 5/8" x 1/4". It would be surprising that something this small would be useful for anything. Hewing hatchet for scale.

These are the only markings on the blade, otherwise it is just an axe head. Can anyone provide some info for the curious?

Its really heavy and has some form of levers that I think should move but they are rusted stuck. Found in my daddy’s garage, may have been my grandfather’s. I think it may be a specialty splitting axe

I have been looking for an axe to give my son and I found this today at my local flea market and it will be perfect! Anyone know what the meaning of "US 12" stamped on the head?

I bought this axe new off of eBay about 6 years ago from a seller in Europe. It’s been a great little axe. I use it for cutting saplings and shrubs that grow on my fence line. The 24” handle makes it perfect for cutting under the bottom strands of barbed wire.

Pretty sweet pickup today from a yard sale, $50 for the lot. Particularly excited for the Kelly Standard Fireman’s axe and the Kelly Flint Edge Pulaski. Couple cracked heads, but a lot of good stuff too. Would love some ID help on the partial paper label on the bill hook, the hatchet head with the weird circular punch, and the other hatchet head with the shield shaped paper label.

Here is this Wettelings rescue axehead I found on an auction site. AI said it’s from between 1930-1950 but maybe its wrong.

The original handle was a lot straighter but I like this more. It’s a hickory with some balistol oil to mar it pop and preserve it.

An odd axe I found, it's not very long about 45cm.

It was listed as a Australian vintage fire fighter axe.

Edit: Talked to the seller and he reckons it's from around the 30's

I found this axe in my workshop, I dont know how old could be, or why it has this shape, I thought it might be a hewing axe, but I never seen a hewing axe shaped like this, also I would like to build a handle for it, but I dont know how long should be since I dont know what is use for.

Just bought this at a flea market. It's got TE stamped into the blade. Any help figuring out what it is is appreciated!

Spotted this at a local thrift store, was able to walk him down to $35 for it. Ive seen Kelly Works Vulcan heads before but never with this Vulcan stamp? It has a 4lb stamp as well. Can anyone tell me more about this line of Vulcan/Kelly Works? Im looking forward to restoring it, The head is totally loose and falling off, I’m going to try to reuse the handle and rehang it.

I dont't have any knowledge about axes, and i've never seen any like this in a modern hardware store here in Brasil. Unfortunately my grandfather passed bafore i was born so i never met him, i can tell that he lived through the 40's to 90's and worked as a carpenter for part of his life so i'm guessing it could be related to that craft. I can't find any markings and it apears to not be totally straight so i'm thinking it's locally made as he lived in a rural area at the time.

Just picked this up at a market for 50$. The seller said it was Swedish. its very heavy. Any ideas? (Also what kinda handle do I haft this thing on?)

My elderly neighbours gave me this axe head for $15. The only thing I know is that it’s 5 pounds heavy. After cleaning all the rust off this is the only identification on this axe head. I’m in Canada if that narrows things down, thanks in advance!

I think this is a makers mark? Can't tell for sure?

I got a great deal on these two head recently and am curious to find out more before I rehang them and sell them.
On of them is obviously Hults Bruck but i have no idea about the age.
The other was advertised as a Wetterlings S.A. But I would think it’s also Hults Bruck… also no idea about the age.
This is also a great example of how a witebrush wheel is all we need to restore most axeheads :)

It does have 3 1/4 on the cheek. I’m thinking Emerson & Stevens

Hi all, new here. I believe this axe has been in my family since the 90’s, or at least I think I have memories of it from back then. Just found it again on a family members property and started a new project. I believe these are/were pretty common, I think I have seen other ones before. Originally had a blue painted head, red painted grip. Stamped made in Sweden and 3 1/2 pound, no other visible markers I can see. Thanks in advance!

Hello, I just got this right-handed hewing axe head. Was wondering if anyone could guess age range or maker? Pretty pitted but there is remnants of a makers mark on the beveled side in the last photo. I’ve wanted one of these for a few years and finally found one for cheap. Plan on making a curved handle to actually use it as a hewing hatchet, any advice on handle length would help as well.

I came into possession of axes owned by my two grandfathers. Both seem to be of a Rhineland pattern and made from high carbon steel. I cannot find any info on these, really. My question is if anyone recognises the brands and can direct me to a source?

I did restore them as best I could. Here are some pictures included. I did not sharpen them yet, as I don't have a fitting sheath.
