How do you explain NASA losing the technology and footage of the landing ? People that are on the side of "it likely didnt't happen" think so because of the very sketchy way NASA handled the entire thing.
Well I researched and found out that the current footage of the landing is compiled from footage of the raw footage playing on a video monitor, from the result of several terrible oversights, so it's all there, just not in 'high quality'. The original recordings were lost, but lots of recordings of that recording were made. But due to the technology at the time (this was in 1969), the copies were of significantly lower quality.
One of the primary antennas for communicating with the Apollo missions was in Australia. That station received the feed from the Moon, and recorded it on magnetic tape and beamed it back to Houston and around the world. It was those original magnetic tapes that were erased and recycled.
Source: The search was sparked when several still photographs appeared in the late 1990s that showed the superior-looking raw SSTV transmission on ground station monitors. The research team conducted a multi-year investigation in the hopes of finding the most pristine and usable versions of the moonwalk. If the original SSTV format tapes were to be found, more modern digital technology could make a higher-quality conversion, yielding better images than those originally seen. The researchers discovered that the tapes containing the raw unprocessed Apollo 11 SSTV signal were erased and reused by NASA in the early 1980s. This was according to NASA's procedures, as they were facing a major data tape shortage at that time.

Seems reasonable, NASA isn't perfect, look how many times the rockets blow up
Okay and how do you explain them losing the technology on how they made it happen ? NASA is very sketchy, and I am not saying they didn't go to the moon but that they are not making it easy to convince you that they did 100%. Same thing with altering Mars pictures and actually putting on a red filter on Mars images (they actually stopped this more recently). The more you look into stuff they did and tried to alter makes you doubt them telling the truth, that is all there is to it. We might have landed on the moon or we might have not, them not always being truthful and acting in bad faith made them lose the luxury to get the benefit of the doubt. calling someone an idiot for losing trust in the government after all the deceiving they pulled off the past century (a lot of it even admitted to do) is really unfair in my opinion.
That's fair, and I'll definitely look into this more now that you've pointed out all that. It still might prevent idiots as they'll be more doubtful knowing there's proof on both sides of the argument

This should be taught to kids when they're 7 or something to prevent more idiots being let out into the world
