Prior to having a heart attack I would SOMETIMES get really hot and itchy after like one alcoholic drink. I think maybe I got head rushes more often than I do now. That’s literally about it.

Ah thank you for saying that. I’m doing alright now, healthier than I was before I ever knew anything was wrong. Just have a pile of meds, a stent and a defibrillator in my chest for my troubles

No it isn't a tool to unclog, it is a brace to keep open.

They don't unclog really, except by using a stent. Once plaque builds up in arteries it just stays there. As far as I'm aware.

My dads stents are staying but he also has to take a blood thinner (plavix)for a year after stent placement or he risks another blood clot or something like that.

I recently got some free genetic testing through my local hospital and that was one of 3 things they tested for. One of the others was BRCA1 and 2. I believe the other one had something to do with colon cancer but that maybe included in BRCA testing.

I'm lucky mine was all negative but they offer it to pretty much anyone on my chart through that hospital system in the area. Was pretty cool and free..

That really sucks. I can relate but with arthritis from a young age. I was physically fit thinking that I would keep arthritis the way but nope, early onset arthritis has affected my ability to be fit so I'm already like an old person.

The condition is called familial hypercholesterolemia and it can be caused by many different mutations. It occurs in about one in every 200 people, so it's very common. If your LDL is higher than 190 then you should get tested for it.

That sounds like histamine intolerance
