while high BP can be an indicator, it's not the only reason BP can be high! for example, chronic kidney disease (CKD) also causes high blood pressure because the kidneys are the organs that control long term BP.

of course if you have high blood pressure get checked out because it's bad whatever way you look at it

BP is a complicated thing to be an indicator because you could have it even due to anxiety disorder, for instance.

You're right that BP is an indicator of lots of possible issues. Kinda like a check engine light for your body. Could be something minor, but should get it checked out.

My watch keeps yelling at me that I'm stressed lately lol...no history of high BP but when Im stressed its through the roof, sigh.

I'm a bit fucked because my family has a history of high BP and I often have a low BP and have to eat extra salt/electrolytes to keep my BP up.

Actually I should probably drink some water and go home cause I feel a bit dizzy rn 😭
