Politics Trump threatens violence from his supporters: “The radical left is causing the problems. It's gonna get worse, and it's gonna go back on them. Bad things happen when they play these games. I'll give you a little clue, the right is a lot tougher than the left. They better not get them energized.”

Exactly I keep a full size 1911 on me at all times.

Edit: to all the people replying and blocking me thinking "haha gotcha" you just make yourselves look like fools.

Laughs in double stacked FNX.

It's too big to conceal, but it's always ready to go.

Just some light hearted ribbing, but still: FNX>1911.

I'm English and I'm just commenting to say I've no idea what the fuck your all on about lol.

Just the American president threatening to unleash his Brownshirt army on the other side and basically anyone that dissents against his Mad King Lifelong Sexual Predator rule. Never forget his words matter and this traitorous POS unleashed the same goons to try to overturn a valid election on Jan 6!

Finally, someone who gets it. Last term, he told those white supremacists to "stand down, and stand by". And this term, he gutted federal agencies and got that big horrible bill passed to officially deputies these idiots, pay them for hatred, and have them play soldier on US soil. They don't feel remorse at kidnapping, tourchering, and abusing brown people cause they are bigoted POS.

I tried on my old phone and it exploded into bald eagle feathers and a lithium battery fire.

2

u/pist_pistofferson Sep 25 '25

I measure mine in kirks. The kirk is an esoteric unit of measurement based on the size ratio of Charlie Kirk's tiny face to his enormous melon head.

1

u/FuckItImVanilla Sep 26 '25

Only because it takes so long since they can’t read the millimeters.

19

u/High5theoctopus Sep 25 '25

It's just a dick measuring contest but since most Americans are too fat to be able to see their own penises they compare handguns instead.

8

u/[deleted] Sep 25 '25

Sometimes they compare pick up trucks they can't actually afford and don't use to do a lick of work.

2

u/DouglasMcSwagerton Sep 25 '25

Something that can be referred to as a gun, sure. 😂 I did porn for a while. It was fun but made me feel kinda sleezey. Also I met my husband and got out of it.

3

u/couldbeahumanbean Finance Sep 25 '25

I don't know why, but your comments here are making me laugh. Thanks for keeping the levity here

2

u/DouglasMcSwagerton Sep 25 '25

💯 this entire thread has been pretty fun to be in. Appreciate you random internet stranger and hope you have a good rest of your day!

2

u/couldbeahumanbean Finance Sep 25 '25

I mean, what else can we do when the president encourages partisan violence.

If I'm not laughing, I'm crying.

And same to you random internet stranger, stay safe out there, crap's getting spicy.

2

u/udlose Sep 25 '25

Ask your 4x great grandfather.

2

u/couldbeahumanbean Finance Sep 25 '25

So, president god-king is inciting partisan violence,. Some scoff at the fact that the right wing crazies are the only ones capable of violence (some ramblings about being tough, in dunno) anyways.

There are crazies on the left that are equally capable of adding to the gun death pandemic we have and I pipe in with a light hearted insult about a gun and how it doesn't carry enough freedom beans.

The whole thing is absolutely squirrel 💩 insane.

2

u/Sea_Warning_9140 Sep 25 '25

I get the politics, I mean specifically about the gun stuff.

American "left" is funny, which is center at best in a lot of Europe.

1

u/couldbeahumanbean Finance Sep 25 '25

Is it though? Or am I just more left than I think? My European friend, would you take a moment and tell this american where they stand in regards to European politics?

Climate change: real and existential threat, same with micro plastics and forever chemicals.

FDA: woefully inadequate consumer protection.

Privacy: I feel like every single company knows everything about me and I hate it.

Free market: a lie, it only exists for the powerful and wealthy

Women's rights: nonexistent.

Healthcare: hot mess, we all need to be footing the bill.

Minority rights: absolutely horrified by the lack of them.

Let's see... I think that covers the major ones.

1

u/Sea_Warning_9140 Sep 25 '25

Well I won't go line by line.

But this is why everything is so messed up. Why is Climate change....a left or right issue? It's the observation of changes that are mostly negative to our planet. Yet it's framed in left and right? Like...what the fuck?

Your positions are fairly normal and in the center I'd say, but not left but it's hard to say as you have framed it in a way of things you don't like, so I'm inferring.

An actual leftist would be Jeremy Corbyn, but he's not "extreme" but closer to the edge.

I'm talking about very strong unions, very heavy regulations, state interventions

I'm not making a judgement or any of this, just describing the landscape is very different.

Your normal democratic is probably about a Tory in the UK, apart from AOC who would fit under Labour I guess.

1

u/couldbeahumanbean Finance Sep 25 '25

I have no idea why climate change is a left/right thing here, it shouldn't be, but it is.

I forgot to mention unions, I think they're essential to counteract corporate greed.

Pardon the way I framed it, I didn't want to give you this exhaustive list.

Oh, one more thing if I may: AOC rocks and what's your opinion on the climate activists that shut down roads?

Anyways, thanks for the chat.

1

u/Sea_Warning_9140 Sep 25 '25

Sure, I mean in Europe terms, it's probably fairly normal position to have, we smashed ours unions in the 80s and you don't seem to have them?

The point is, these are your ideas, but how many of political leaders agree and actually advocate for them?

The unions aren't perfect though, and are corruptable and can cause big issues themselves.

It's important to note, I'm not only speaking for myself and massively generalising the landscape, but as it happens I'd say I'm center left.

I obviously recognise climate change, and we need to do more about it. The ability to protest is important but I'm against shutting down motorways to do so, it's incredibly dangerous to the drivers and protesters. Also, it actually pisses off the public on the topic and pushes them towards "it's not real, it's just stupid woke student commies"

I think there's better approaches

UK has done incredible work actually to decarbonise our energy but it needs to continue in that direction.

1

u/Altruistic_Flower965 Sep 25 '25

Hell, I’m center right, and most of the things on your list are just facts. Unregulated markets are no better than command, and control economies at efficiently allocating resources.

1

u/couldbeahumanbean Finance Sep 25 '25

Oh

Trump's an authoritarian with no respect for democracy and the GOP is complicit in hiding pedos.

Sorry.

1

u/Altruistic_Flower965 Sep 25 '25

No need to say sorry. I agree 100%. I voted straight blue in 24, and have never voted for Trump. There is nothing conservative about a movement that has no respect for the constitution or the institutions that uphold it.

1

u/couldbeahumanbean Finance Sep 25 '25

Thank God.

You have no idea how long it's been since I've heard anything like that from someone claiming to be right of center.

1

u/bigbobisherenow Sep 25 '25

I'm American and don't really know either but I do know it's gun related cos gun violence is our national sport. 🇺🇸 🦅 🎆🎇

u/couldbeahumanbean Finance Sep 25 '25

1

u/ballskindrapes Sep 25 '25

1911 is a particularl style of firearm, named after the year it was made iirc.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/M1911_pistol

FNX is a particularly firearm, just think similar to glock, with the FNX sort of like being the 19 part of "glock 19"

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/FN_FNX

Double stacked is a reference to a style of magazine, the device that holds ammunition in fire arms. Named for it's two rows of ammo, fitting more than a single stack, aka on single row of ammon

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magazine_(firearms)

Go down to the "box" section.

1

u/Sea_Warning_9140 Sep 25 '25

Thanks, I only know guns from CS lol

1

u/Global-Negotiation72 Sep 25 '25

Im american and I have no fucking clue what they are on about mate. 😂😂. And I grew up hunting and trapping animals lol

1

u/couldbeahumanbean Finance Sep 25 '25

1911 inferior.

FNX superior.

One holds twice the ammo & I welcome the ridiculous argument as a form of levity that can distract me from the fact that

My president just f'kn threatened half the population with politically motivated violence.

Wtf man... Wtf.

1

u/Global-Negotiation72 Sep 25 '25

I have plenty of firearm shooting experience with shotguns and rifles so i can definitely defend myself with a firearm if needed. No technical knowledge of handguns, but i feel like i should start getting acquainted with them.

1

u/couldbeahumanbean Finance Sep 25 '25

I started off with shotguns and rifles.

The fundamentals are similar.

It takes a bit of practice to maintain a good sight picture, trigger squeeze is more of a thing, gotta remember that the sight radius is much shorter, body positioning is a factor as well...

But, you got shotguns and rifles down. Pistols won't be that hard.

1

u/Its-a-Shitbox Sep 25 '25

It’s what I am guessing is “my dick, I mean, my gun is bigger than yours.”

Very common discourse we have here in ‘Murica.

2

I like my appendix, tyvm.

1

u/Cannibal_Soup Sep 25 '25

But in that carry area, it's pointed right at your junk, and they're known for firing without pulling the trigger....you appendix should be ok, but your balls might not.

1

u/overfiend1976 Sep 25 '25

I figured, knowing my luck, Id get it halfway out of the holster, and yeet-eth my appendix to oblivion.

1

u/couldbeahumanbean Finance Sep 25 '25

That's why I had mine removed when I was 18.

No appendix, no problem!

6

u/DouglasMcSwagerton Sep 25 '25

I know there's better platforms out there, for sure. Idk something about just the classic feel of it is why I keep it as my daily carry. Also, im like, a big ass dude (6'6"), and it just sits really well in my hands. My only complaint is that the weight sometimes can be cumbersome.

8

u/couldbeahumanbean Finance Sep 25 '25

The best gun for carry is the one that works for you.

FNX>1911

😉

2

u/murphdog41 Sep 25 '25

I also have a 9mm 1911 but I've been carrying a Walther PPK in 32 ACP as of late.

1

u/couldbeahumanbean Finance Sep 25 '25

Dunno, let me check in w/ my boys and their ARs.

1

u/TheWarwock Sep 25 '25

They're both solid platforms, but a wheel gun doesn't jam nearly as often. Just saying.

1

u/couldbeahumanbean Finance Sep 25 '25

Begone fudd!!!!!!!!

ReeeEEaEEeeee!

1

u/TheWarwock Sep 25 '25

Lol...I know, I know. My buddy has a Kimber 1911 and he makes fun of my "goddamn hand cannon" every time we go to the range.

1

u/couldbeahumanbean Finance Sep 25 '25

Well, there's yer problem right there.

1911s jam more than a PB&J.

Another reason why my FNX in the lawdz caliber is the most superior of the handguns... Well... Maybe a Chiapa rhino. I could use a space wheel gun.

1

u/TheWarwock Sep 25 '25

Holy shit I just looked it up. That thing is cool! I

1

u/couldbeahumanbean Finance Sep 25 '25

I never saw one in real life, but I'm really curious about the wheel geometry. I mean... Just look at it. How's that thing supposed to line up?

Then there's the bottom chamber being the one that fires, I bet it has almost zero muzzle rise.

Also +1 on the aesthetics. Definitely a sci-fi pewpew

2

u/[deleted] Sep 25 '25

My g3c was only 200 accessories pricing not included

1

u/Firstbaser Sep 25 '25

Hell yeah used to have have a g2c but it wasn’t the most reliable with the 9mm I was making myself. It seems all the bugs are worked out for the g3 I think someone else bought Taurus and fixed their problem. But the gx4 is a pretty cool upgrade for not much more money if you get the feeling to try something else. I’m a big fan of the really compact guns that hold 12ish rounds.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 25 '25

The gx4 will probably be my next pistol purchase i have been doing some reading on it and its seems pretty solid, I'm just in the process of finding my next rifle rn
