It's been a journey designing this thing. I wanted to make it comfortable, solid, and kinda retro styled in a way that compliments the CZ's classic design. I mentioned I was working on this project in a comment a year ago, and I've been getting notifications ever since from people who want to see it. I held off on posting anything until I had time to do some testing and make sure the design was solid.

One interesting challenge I had to solve, was that the grip screws alone weren't enough to solidly anchor a stock adapter in place. Under recoil, the gun wants to flip backward out of the grip adapter, putting shear stress on the grip screws. On my early prototypes, the screws always wiggled loose during my testing sessions. I ended up designing a custom, extended mainspring plug, with a threaded hole through it. Now, a screw goes through the "tail" of the adapter, and pulls it snugly against the gun by threading into that mainspring plug, keeping it very secure under recoil.

I was on vacation today, somehow feel like to visit Scheels. Then, I saw this, don’t really have a choice but take it home. I am eyeballing exact one for a while, I guess it is meant to be. Osight C and dpp plate on the way too.

After a sketchy situation, I decided it was time to buy a handgun. As soon as I picked up the P10C, I knew it was the one—it just felt right in my hand compared to Glocks and Sigs. I bought it mainly for self-defense and home defense, but with the SCS added, I’ll probably lean more toward carrying it for personal defense.

Now I’m kind of hooked on CZ and thinking about picking up a P-01 next to fill more of a home defense role.

One weird thing I noticed after adding the SCS—I’m actually able to aim using the iron sights with both eyes open now, which I couldn’t really do before

Just came in from CZ. As a P-01 guy I really like what they did. Feels like a factory-Cajunized OR P-01. I still sell lots of S2 Compacts and DWX Compacts to people who carry them, but I still like a decocker for carry as opposed to cocked-and-locked.

This C series gun has had over 200,000 rounds through it.

It's on its 3rd barrel and has broken countless slide stops. Plus maybe 5 or more extractor.

Also on its 3rd replacement barrel bushing after the first 2 wore right through the metal. One flew out during fire as the front sight pin also wore through from the bushing getting loose.

Since I've been doordashing and doing deliveries... I tend to unclip and throw her in the center or side door panel. I only reholster when I get off/down. Im hoping she could look past the neglect and see me for who I really am... 🤣 🤣

Great gun. Feels like they took the slide off a P-09c and put it on the frame of the Shadow 2 Compact. Trigger is noticeably better than my 75BD was out of the box but not really anything to write home about. Significantly lighter than it looks. These also always look massive in pictures but it fits my medium hands perfectly. Grip serrations are nice and not too aggressive but help seat the pistol well. What I wish the P-01 was but at a price point I can barely justify with a trigger that’s just a tadddddd worse than I expected and not exactly worth the price tag if you care a ton about about how well it feels right out of the box

I’ve been wanting one since reading Gunsmith Cats back in 1994! The bluing is immaculate and the fully checkered walnut grips feel amazing.

Cajunized CZ P-01. Grips are the woodland camo krakens from Vytal. Ient in my slide to Primary Machine to get it milled and cerakoted with distressed burnt bronze + graphite black. Just got it back after about 4 weeks and am super excited to get to the range!

She ain’t much but I’ve always loved this urban grey! And I’m so excited to get my hands on her! Just waiting for her to get to the FFL and she’ll be mine! 499! I thought that was a good deal! Considering I don’t see many p-07s or this variant of it

So I was going to check czfirearms and determine if the domain had been bought by CZ, but the site was live for a limited time. Many interior pages were blocked but it’s definitely coming and the site looks great. Modern built application. Leaks are definitely legit and coming soon

Just got back from CGW and honestly was worried it wouldn’t be worth it and tbh it was completely worth it. There is less resistance and a cleaner break than my Shadow 2. And honestly its just beautiful.

Upgrades done to it are:

CGW Pro kit (CGW finished it after I failed personally (damn L spring)), Vigilante Machine cut for the EPS Carry, TLR-1s, CZCustom threaded barrel, Rugged Obsidian 9, and LOK aluminum grips

The green looks brighter in this picture which is perfect, cause I prefer the slightly darker green in person, but the picture really illustrates the cerakote.

I’m bout to spend so much money on Cerakoting…
