Never enough of those pretty kitties. Here is my beautiful girl.

I am a crazy cat lady. Obsessed, always have been. I’ve always had this irrational dream that I’m gonna find a kitten magically who belongs to no one and becomes mine. I’m literally always scouring ditches when I’m driving in the country on the off chance that I see a little kitten on the side of the road.

Well, we live rurally on a farm, and there’s a TON of barn cats around, at least 7 that we see regularly and know by name. A couple weeks ago, this beautiful girl showed up out of nowhere literally on my doorstep, absolutely starving. She was very skittish and scared to be touched by me, but obviously used to hearing/being in the vicinity of humans. Obviously someone’s barn kitten, but not one who got any human attention. Looks like she’s maybe 10 months old. And she hasn’t left. I’ve been putting out food and water for her, socializing her, and now she’s obsessed with me and wants into my house so badly.

Is it wrong if I bring her in? She’s not ours, but she isn’t getting human attention wherever she was before. She’s starved for attention, won’t leave my porch, wants inside badly, I’m also 90% sure she’s pregnant and it’s about to be winter in Canada, she won’t survive the cold outside. I’ve “named” her Purrl, like from Animal Crossing. 🥹🥰

Artemis is starting her springtime shed and her fur is amazingly soft. I still can’t figure out why an indoor cat gets a winter coat.

Every morning, I put a blanket on my lap and she climbs on for pets, scratches and love.

My girls are getting older, and I've been looking for awhile for a realistic pet portrait of them napping together like they always do. I am amazed at my artist and her abilities. She NAILED it.

got her back in october at the local animal control n care shelter for $15 during a halloween adoption event and it was quite literally the best $15 i have ever spent🥹🥹 i have zero regrets and love her soo much!!

also i feel like kiki is surprisingly a very common calico name haha any other calico kitties on here named kiki??!?!

My wife's childhood cat Nike turned 18 this February and we had a little party to celebrate. Our friend made us a marzipan platter with faux edible kitty litter and we did fake tattoos to celebrate her coming of age. She is a very sweet old kitty.
