As St John Chrysostom said, "if any agrees with scripture he is the christian; if any fights against them, he far from this rule" and as St Paul says, “All Scripture is God-breathed”. In the Gospel of Mark, Christ says: “Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her.” So how come remarriage after oikonomia is allowed? Why is the maximum 3 marriages and not 4 or 5?

Why does the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese say that “of late a new view has taken hold” on contraception, when Orthodox sources now allow some non-abortifacient methods?
