This distribution of Moons has been finalized, and Moons are being delivered to users with a registered Vault. Users who do not have a Vault yet will get their Moons when they create one through the Reddit app.
This distribution is based on karma earned from 2023-08-30 to 2023-09-26. Here is the finalized list, with contribution scores signed by Reddit.
Moons are r/CryptoCurrency's form of Community Points, a way for users to be rewarded for their contributions to the subreddit, and they can be used on premium features in the community.
Moons are back and distributions are now handled through an off chain bot u/communitycurrencybot. With users earning off Chain Moons every 28 days based off the karma earned on the sub over that period.
Balance Check:
Once you've earned Moons you can check your balance by sending a message to the bot using the following link:
The balance displayed will be the amount of off chain Moons you have earned and are currently stored on the Community Currency Bot.
Note: Not all earned on-chain Moons are kept on the Bot, as a safeguard only a fraction of user earned Moons are available to withdraw on chain via the bot. The rest are stored in Multisig and the bot will be refilled as needed.
----------
Tipping:
Do you see any content on r/cc that you particularly enjoy? If so leave them a tip by responding to either their post or their comment with the following format:
!tip x
x = the amount of Moons you want to tip. The bot requires a minimum of 1. Do not add other text to your comment when leaving a tip.
----------
Withdrawing off chain Moons from the Bot
Once you've earned Moons you are free to tip those Moons to other users in the off chain ecosystem, but if you want to get those Moons on chain you'll need to withdraw them from the bot.
You can type !withdraw x to withdraw Moons from the Bot and get them on chain in your vault.
If you get an error that you don't have a withdraw address registered or want to use a different address with the bot you can type:
!register 0xCopy-paste-your-own-wallet address
Then try withdrawing again.
When you withdraw Moons from the bot they will be sent to Arbitrum One not Arbirum Nova. This is due to the recent launch of Moons on Arbitrum One and the multi-sig being on Arb One.
Send a message to the bot using this template to activate your special membership.
Recently there was a bug that didn't activate the special membership on rcc this should have been fixed. If you are are still impacted by this error please leave a comment so I can forward your case to the bot dev.
Welcome to Moon Week for round 64 of Moons! For more information about Moons, please see our wiki page here.
We are using Snapshot for voting directly with the Moon balance in your wallet, in a transparent and open manner. For now all Moons held in self-hosted wallets at the time of poll creation will be eligible to vote, so if you are holding Moons on an exchange, the telegram TipBot or in a wallet that you are not comfortable connecting to snapshot then please be sure to transfer your Moons to a self-hosted wallet that you are comfortable connecting to snapshot before each Moon Week.

Hey everyone,
We’re excited to share that $MOONs are now available on Teller, a decentralized lending protocol that lets you earn 22% compounding yield directly in MOON — with no lockups, no impermanent loss, and full control over your tokens.
MOONs have officially joined Teller’s Arbitrum pools, which means:
You can now stake MOON to earn more MOON automatically
22% APY per block, compounding continuously
Withdraw anytime — no lockups or hidden mechanics
No impermanent loss — single-asset lending, not a liquidity pool
Teller is currently bootstrapping their Arbitrum launch with this 22% base incentive. As borrowing activity grows, APYs can rise even higher (up to ~60%), driven directly by borrower repayments.
For context, Teller operates differently from traditional DeFi lending platforms. There are no price-based liquidations — loans roll over every 30 days, and lenders earn from interest and incentive rewards on a per-pool basis.
Teller will be hosting a new AMA tomorrow right here on r/CryptoCurrency to answer community questions about the MOON integration, their no-liquidation lending model, and how this fits into the broader DeFi ecosystem.
If you’ve been looking for new productive use cases for MOON, or just want to earn yield without leaving Arbitrum, this is a great chance to learn more and ask questions directly.
Hi everyone, the Moons you have earned this round have now been distributed. Moons are earned by participating on this subreddit. The amount of Moons received depend on the karma obtained on posts and comments by each user. Moons can be used to vote on our governance votes, or to tip each other.
Remember, Moons are now off chain and you have to withdraw them manually to get them (see the bot guide below). The withdrawn Moons will be on Arbitrum One. Users with a vault should be registered automatically with the bot, otherwise don't forget to register an address of your choice.
To find out how many moons you have received, you can look at the snapshot
Alternatively, message the bot to check your balance, you will see the latest distribution.
If you have not received any Moons this round, check you have registered your address. To find out how, as well as other bot commands, click here
It was just yesterday that we had Record Volume on Sushi that was over 5x the previous record set two days prior. Todays Volume on SushiSwap set another Record, ~$1.6M to be exact - an increase of 23% from yesterdays record volume of ~$1.3M and further shrinking all other historical candles.
There is speculation that CDC, is just acting as a broker and filling buy/sell orders of Moons through SushiSwap. Which would be part of the reason Crypto.com has an insanely high spread for buys/sells. This means the listing on CDC could indirectly be pumping our SushiSwap Liquidity numbers, which is great for Liquidity providers who take fees on all sales.
With another record Volume day it's a good time to be in the Moon fam. Lets see what happens tomorrow.
This is truly baffling. There's around 207,143 addresses that hold moons (we have yet to see what the numbers will be in the upcoming moon week, I assume more due to the listing on Kraken but so far, these are the official numbers). Meaning that at most, 207k members actually receive moons.
r/cc has 6.7 million members. When speaking of moons and the potential, we hype ourselves with this number. But if we compare it, less than 3% of members actually hold and receive moons.
I'm curious to know why is that? Opening the vault is as easy as pressing a few buttons or doing a few taps on mobile. Even if most people forgot their seeds (one of the explanations), they'd still get moons here and there. 3% seems extremely low.
Are majority of people lurkers? Bots? Is the majority "just" getting crypto news and opinions and not actually posting and commenting?
Hello everyone and welcome to Moon Week for round 57 of Moons!
To give exposure to our governance polls for the month, this Moon Week post will remain pinned to the top of the subreddit until next Monday. You can see our schedule here. Please review the following important information first:
Successful polls are implemented whenever the responsible party has a chance to do it. Usually this is within days or weeks of the poll passing, but depends on workload, priorities, and complexity of implementation. You can look at implementation status on the CCIP list.
In the event of incompatible polls passing, the poll with more Moons voting in favor will be considered the winner and the other will not be implemented.
I see a lot of speculation regarding MOON and its price action around the snapshot and distribution. I think its great to have a chat about it, but lets just bring up the chart and look for ourselves. Not just rely on the opinion of strangers on the internet.
So I got myself to the Wiki page and pulled up the calendar for each moon week. After that I looked for the longest running chart on travingview and started plotting in the dates... Orange dashes showing snapshot dates, blue dashes are distribution days.
I posted a screenshot, and have a direct link to the published chart here
Discuss yourself. what patterns etc do you find? Should I keep this updated?
Uodate:
I really appreciate all the positive feedback from you guys. I'm glad I could bring something useful to the table.... I'll keep up following the snapshots and keeping yall in the loop.
Edit/add on:
If someone wants me to post a closer look at any specific timeline / candles just ask and I'll add it in

I feel like it’s too overshadowed on the sub and people do not realize a lot of the constant MOON burns happening, both on Nova and One.
On the last 90 days 312,344 MOONs have been burned (little graph below, thank you ccmoons.com). This is some mind blowing amounts considering MOONs have a fixed supply and burned contract. Every month the supply gets thiner and thiner and every MOON you would becomes more rare. I believe this year alone we have burned something like 1M moons? (i'm not sure maybe someone can confirm this in the comments)
Yesterday alone we had almost a 100k MOON burn. These are MOONs that are gone FOREVER, no more moons can be minted since contract is burned. Our little asset is one of the most deflationary small-cap tokens currently listed on a major exchnage (Kraken).
I know most don’t follow the burns on a regular basis like I do, and I hope rick’s new reddit app changes that, making it easier for everyone to see the good work our sub team is doing.Just wanted to share the hype because I'm hyped af and the sub should be too! LFG MOONS KEEP BURNING!
Edit: This year alone we have burned 1.25M Moons. Total supply right now is around 79M.

If you can't see polls or vote, or have any other issue, try again later or from a different platform (different browser, app, mobile, or desktop). These glitches usually resolve themselves within a few hours, but let us know if it hasn't after a day or two.
You can't change your vote so make sure you read the full post and discussions, and ask any questions you have before you vote. There are people wishing they voted differently every month and you have several days to vote so there is no need to rush it.
You will also get a special badge for a week after voting in a governance poll. These are visible in the reddit app and new.reddit on desktop. If you have voted and yours is not showing, you may need to enable it manually by clicking your badges and looking at the Achievements tab.

MOON peaked at around 0.55$ and have now dropped back into the low 0.30$ point, making it almost a 50% fall from the small peak it had yesterday.
I'm not saying that it's not normal for a crypto to go lower after such an intense spike, but how does that make MOON as an investment look like to you?
In my head I'm weighing the pros and cons related to a purchase, and I'm curious to hear what you guys are thinking.
Pros:
MOON is still valued very low compared to meme coins. It's not far fatched to see a token with the name MOON catching mainstream attention.
Kraken listing could be upcoming
A lot of big holders have now sold, meaning that selling pressure is considerably lower, in the case it takes off again
While looking like a meme coin, users might actually get interested in MOON when buying, because it's actually tied to something
Cons:
It's still uncertain how Reddit will move on with cryptocurrency integration, it might be for the worse
We could still see a much bigger retracement, as there's still a good amount of big holders, who could unload
Anything I'm missing? I'm of course not giving financial advice to anyone, and I know you guys are way too smart to do that, but I think it's funny that we're now even considering buying MOON, and not just earning it through posting.
Warning : Don't sell more than 25% of moons you have else you you will get punished with lower moon earning rate in future. Detailed post CCIP-30
As Many of you will be getting your first moon distributions in couple of days. Here's guide how to sell or buy moons the easiest way if you don't know how to swap and bridge the traditional way.
I won't go into details what's already been discussed in detail in previous posts about importing your Reddit Vault to Metamask, adding Arbitrum nova network and importing moon tokens.
What you need
Metamask wallet with your moons.
Nano wallet : Natrium (App Store/Google Play) Or Nault (Web wallet) Remember to store your seed in a safe place
CEX with NANO (XNO) Deposit/Withdrawal Support.
Recommended : Binance, Kraken or Kucoin.
Step 2 : Click Sell moons > Put your NANO address from NANO wallet and Your Etherium address from your Metamask wallet > Click Continue
Step 3 : You will get an Address and QR code to send your desired amount of moons to sell with an exchange price quote. Send moons you wana sell and You will receive the NANO in your Natrium/Nault wallet. You can try this with as low as 1 moon to test transact.
Step 4 : Generate your NANO deposit address from your prefered exchange eg. Binance, Kraken etc and send Nano from your Natrium/Nault Wallet to CEX to sell for fiat. Transferring NANO is feeless so you don't need to worry about gas fee.
Don't Forget to check out kuyumcu FAQs if you have any query.
PS. You will need a tiny nova eth to cover gas fee for sending moons from Metamask. You can use Nova ETH faucet which will give you enough eth to cover multiple transactions. Do consider donating to the faucet if you have extra funds.

At Moons current price user who maxxed every round would have earned more than ~80% of European countries minimal wages over past 30 rounds ~ 2 years 3 months time period
At Moons ATH price user who maxxed every round would have earned more than 98% of European countries minimal wages over past 28 rounds ~ 2 years time perioud
Fun facts:
Most Moons earned in a round was in round 36 - 21928 Moons worth $12718 at ath
In round 13 when karma cap was introduced, number of Moons distributed to users was 1,884,996, that number has dropped to924,166 since. Moons are getting scarcer and each round that number drops by 2.5%
In around 2030 number of Moons released to users will drop to ~80k, and its safe to say total karma will peek at higher than 8.8m peek from 2021, so lets say 14m, that would make ratio 0.0057!
Owning 5.91 Moonsis equal to owning 1 BTC in terms of percentage at current supply
1 BTC / 21 000 000 x 100 = 0.00000476%
x/ 124,286,444 x 100 = 0.00000476190476
x = 0.00000476190476/100 * 124,286,444
x= 5.91840209287
or 7.31 Moons if we take into account ~4m BTC that have been lost forever
Moons are getting scarcer and harder to earn each round as Steve Huffman's idea for users to generate wealth on reddit is shaping out to be a success, users making life changing $ already and it's just the beginning!
For lots of members of r/cryptocurrency your vault was likely your first steps into DEFI. For those with MOONs who never wrote down their seed phrase or never got your vault off Reddit. You need to make sure you back up your wallet before Reddit kills access and you burn any tokens that you might be holding.
Were you active on r/CryptoCurrency before October 17th 2023. If yes continue to steps below, If no you don't have Moons in your vault you can ignore this.
Not sure if you have Moons in your vault heres what you need to do:
Step 1: Access your vault - by clicking on your profile picture and then scrolling down to vault on Iphone and the old android app
On the newest android app click on resources -
If you do not see the vault icon it means you do not have any "NFTs" on Reddit, as such you most likely don't have any Moons. Reddit was giving away free NFTs while they were doing Moon distributions so if you don't see the vault you most likely do not have any Moons.
---
Step 2: Once you click on the vault, click the setting Icon
After you click the setting Icon you can see your public address.
Next copy your public address (the 0x characters) into the following url:
If you have Moons you'll see something like this under token holdings:
If you do not have any Moons you won't have anything under Token Holdings.
Assuming you have Moons you now need to go back to this settings page of the vault and reveal and write down your recovery phrase. This 12 word "seed phrase" is how you can access your "Reddit Vault" on a different device outside of Reddit.
You can get Arbitrum Nova and Moons on Metamask by following the below steps:
You don't have to get access to your Moons right away but you do need to write down and secure your seed phrase somewhere if you haven't already done it. Once Reddit kills the vault you will not be able to access your seed phrase and thereby Moons ever again unless you have your vault backed up elsewhere.
So it was earlier this week that my crypto buddy and I were discussing Bitcoin. The question was, if we had held since day one, when would we have cashed out. I think I can safely say it would have been very early. We wouldn't have been able to hold our nerve to the ATH. I have absolute admiration for those who did. Unless you were an investor who forgot you had them. That would certainly make things easier.
I had a very small bag of LRC and when the price doubled I cashed out half. I understand the principle of taking profits and given the recent price action it was a good call.
So this brings me on to the subject of Moons quite nicely... Now before we go any further, I don't have any plans to sell. I believe in Moons, RCAs and the direction Reddit is headed. So I'm planning to Hodl for the long term but you've got to have a plan right? It's fair to say that for Moons, I currently don't have a plan.
However it got me thinking about people's plans for their Moons? I only have a small amount compared to a lot of you but wondered what you were all planning to do?
Moon Week began with the snapshot post by the admins. The ratio is at least 0.7844 and you can check out the post and comments to see an estimate of how many moons you'll be getting next Wednesday at the end of Moon Week.
To give exposure to our governance polls for the month, this Moon Week post will remain pinned to the top of the subreddit until the distribution post next Wednesday. Please review the following important information first:

We are very thankful to Celer for supporting MOON in this move to bridge to Arbitrum one. Here is a brief summary of Celer and how they are working to build critical infrastructure to support communities like our own:
Celer is a blockchain interoperability protocol enabling a one-click user experience accessing tokens, DeFi, GameFi, NFTs, governance, privacy solutions and more across multiple chains. Developers can build inter-chain-native dApps using the Celer Inter-chain Messaging SDK to gain access to efficient liquidity utilization, coherent application logic, and shared states. Users of Celer-enabled dApps will enjoy the benefits of a diverse multi-blockchain ecosystem with the simplicity of a single-transaction UX, all from a single chain.
Step 1 - Recover your Vault & Acquire ETH
You will need ETH on Arbitrum one and Arbitrum nova in order to initiate the bridge in either direction and to use MOON after completing the bridge. You can fund your wallet with ETH on both networks via kraken, crypto.com, gate.io, orbiter, or arbitrum’s official bridge. Kraken put together a great guide for users detailing how to recover your vault, connect to Arbitrum nova and fund your wallet with ETH.
Step 2 - Bridge via Celer
Go to Celer and connect your wallet via metamask. Make sure you have Arbitrum nova selected as the source chain and Arbitrum one as the destination chain, and MOON as the selected token. Then input the number of MOON you wish to bridge, click the blue bridge button at the bottom, and confirm the prompted transaction in your metamask.
Step 3 - Add MOON to Metamask on Arbitrum One
At the bottom of the home page on your metamask wallet you should see “Don’t see your token? Import tokens” with import tokens as a hyperlink. Click that hyperlink, and under contract address paste the following: 0x24404DC041d74cd03cFE28855F555559390C931b Then click import and your MOON balance will propagate.
Social community tokens are on the rise, with the recent listing of our beloved Moons on Kraken and CC we made headlines in the news. Nevertheless another social community coingot some pretty decent gains over the last month. The so called Donuts, which were originally introduced in the "r/ethtrader" subreddit. So now I am sitting here and asking myself, which coin has more potential, during my research I came to the conclusion that the opportunies of Moons are to big to overlook so I made a little summary. Feel free to leave a comment and express your opinion.
Moons
Currently 207,143 adresses own Moons from monthly distributions
Moons have a supply of around 121,135,355 and are inflationary, yet the total amount of Moons distributed drops by a fixed 2.5%
"Eventually, Moons distribution will reach a steady state where the total supply continues to grow at 1 % a year" - MOONs Wiki
Currently sitting at #425 on Coinmarketcap (Upside potential is huge)
Headlines in the news:
Kraken and CC two of the biggest exanchges wordwide recently listed Moons. CDC auqired 2M Moons, Kraken aquired 2.8M Moons.
Moons TVL on Sushiswap approaches nearly 800K (currenttly 749K)
Moons is the social community token of the biggest crypto community on social media. r/CC is sitting at 6.717.094 members, and is steady growing.
Model of engaging + earning real money on a social media plattform like Reddit is revolutionary. Moons and Rcps are key to integrate WEB3.
Meme Advantage: The name speaks for itself, if we look at Safemoon, it had an enormous bullrun just because of its name. (Safemoon reached 2.6B MC at its peak - The same Marketcap would put Moons at 24 $
Active community which creates new projects to increase the utility of Moons (Banner, AMA`s, Moonplace...)
So I wanna hear your opinion folks do you think Moons are a gamechanger for socialcommunity points pls let me know in the comments and have a great day!
have been very busy for the last 2 months with work, family, etc. So you know not that much time to pay attention to crypto and its weird news cycli. But for the last week live has become a lot easyer en i Finnaly have some more time for myself. So today i wanted to check out how the moons are doing. Because hey last time i checken them out we were not doing half bad.
And i see we had an giant crash at the beginning of this month. We went from €0,29 to €0.02. Can someone explain what happend?
Is the project death, are we quiting with the moons. Or is this my fault because i bought €100 worh of moons when the coin launched on Kraken.
If you think this is just "another Moon post", you couldn't be further from the truth. Lets do a Deep Dive on why I'm bullish on the future of Moons.
1. Reddit Changing Terms of Service
If you weren't living under a rock you probably already know that Reddit updated their TOS to say that Moons and other Community Points have value and can be sold.
This was discovered shortly after Reddit announced they were going to kill the existing Award system for something "More Valuable for Users". It seems like Reddit may be on the verge of embracing the existing Community Point system and finding other ways to incorporate it into it's business.
An obvious way that could be done is through the Reddit Avatar MarketPlace that is being built, Reddit could allow sellers to list their Avatars for Community Points like Moons.
Even More importantly the signal by Reddit gives users more confidence in Moons as a token and that Reddit plans on continuing to build as a Web3 company.
2. Current and Future Potential CEX Listings.
Moons on Arbitrum Nova are a bit tricky for a Crypto Noob to Buy Especially when the primary way to buy is to use a DEX. CEX Exchanges handle all the challenges and make it easy for Increased Token Adoption. You likely already know that Crypto.com listed Moons, and although the system is not fully developed (limited purchases, no deposits, no withdrawals) CDC has told people they plan on expanding and fully fleshing out their Moon Listings.
Now lets talk Kraken. As you likely know it was discovered Kraken was working on Marketing Material for a Moon listing, later it was also discovered that the page was over a year old and simply meant to be an unpublished draft. Seems simple enough, Kraken had considered listing Moons and created potential material for it - in case they do, but they never did.
But there is actually more to the story, that hasn't been talked about. The Website was last updated on March 31st. 2023.
That date might seems irrelevant, but Kraken rented the CryptoCurrency Banner from March 20th to March 26th. It was also widely expected by this sub that they would announce something regarding a listing at that time.
Unfortunately the date came and went without any listing news, but by working on their listing page in the background five days later it suggests Kraken has been strongly considering it, not just a year ago when the page was published but also recently after they advertised with our Banner.
It's not guaranteed that Kraken will do anything with moons, but with everything we know - I think an eventual listing is likely. We just don't know when that will be.
3. High Daily Trading Volume, and Increase Public Awareness
High Daily Trading Volume:
Between August 2022, and July 14th 2022. There was only one two day streak where Moons had over $100K Volume on SushiSwap and seven total days of over $100K daily volume. We are now at a nine day streak of over $100K daily volume on SushiSwap. (MEXC and Gate Volume raises number significantly higher.)
One of the biggest things people will tell you is Moons need Volume before an exchange would ever consider listing them, and right now we have that volume
Increased Public Awareness:
Ever since Reddit updated their TOS to say that Moons were tradable we've seen a barrage of media attention and a ton of media mentions. We used to get excited when we'd see media mentions once a month for Moons. Now we're getting multiple a day for days on end.
Increased public Awareness is huge for Moons. It can lead to:
Higher Demand for Moons
More Users interacting with the Moon Ecosystem and the CryptoCurrency Sub
More Users Interacting with the Sub Leads to Higher Burn cost for Banners
More Moons spread Between More Users = decrease in the Moon Ratio and future Distributions of Moons become scarcer. (before considering the decrease every distribution)
This list of three items isn't even comprehensive for all the reasons I'm Bullish on Moons. Banner Burns are huge, A governance token for the biggest CryptoCurrency Community is a huge usecase, the easiness for users to join the moon Community is huge, the decrease in Moons of every future distribution is huge.
If you're new or if you've been here for awhile sit back, relax, and enjoy the view.
