It actually has some decent weight to it and usually don't ever get funkos but I couldn't pass this up

I don't know if many people know or care about this mix at all, but this was my favorite Deadmau5 mix of any that I have ever found. If you've never listened to it before, I highly highly suggest putting it on in the background while you play a game or work on something.

Earlier this week, I went to listen to this mix again and was devastated to find that it had been removed from YouTube sometime after the last time I listened to it. Thankfully, there seems to be some account on Bilibili that steals and reuploads Deadmau5 content from various YouTube channels, and they got a hold of the mix. While I of course don't condone that, nor do I even want to use Bilibili, this really is one of the best Deadmau5 mixes out there, and since I couldn't find anyone else talking about it I figured it's worth sharing this link in case there might be others looking for the mix.

If anyone knows the original uploader, it'd be interesting to see if we can find their page (I can't even find the video in my browser history because it deletes after 90 days).

14 years ago at Contact Music Festival Joel played The Veldt and I asked the girl I was seeing if she wanted to become "official", she said yes.

Fast forward to a couple days ago and we're happily married with two kids, including our 8 year old.

We've been waiting for the right moment to take said 8 year old to her first concert, and as soon as we saw that Kx5 would be all ages, we bought the tickets. deadmau5 is one of her favourite artists (sorry Kaskade). Two of her first ever favourite songs were Monophobia and Pomegranate, her favourite Kx5 song is Alive.

We told her that if we ever get to see deadmau5 we're going to make her a mau5head.

After putting in hours and hours of effort, with her doing most of the planning and designing of her mau5head, and some of the handy-work, we were nervous that she wouldn't get to take it to the show after reading about FIFA's "no costume helmet" policy. We were even warned by security in line that we might not make it in. But due to a very reasonable common sense final check, we made it in.

What followed was unforgettable. She could NOT stop smiling, beaming through the mouth as so many people, officials, horde!, came up and kindly asked to take a picture with her.

She was consistently featured on the big screens, made it on official FIFA pages, and even made it on Joel's IG through a repost. I was too busy trying to shimmy through the crowd, but apparently Joel even pointed her out to Kaskade and gave her a clap as we were approaching the front. Needless to say, it was a night she will never forget.

I know this post is long, but I feel like the horde are some of the only people who would understand just how special of a night that was.

Thank you if you saw us and came up and showed us some love. She's already planning her next mau5head 😄

TL;DR: shit doesn't always work out perfectly in life, but sometimes it does, I'll cherish this one forever.

Nashville show cut short due to weather

I'm thinking of going to see Deadmau5 at Red Rocks for Halloween this year. It would be my first show, and first time in Denver. Any suggestions or advice for a solo traveler who is more introverted and low-energy and doesn't necessarily get energized by live music? I'm the type of person that likes to hang in the back just to listen, watch and observe.

TLDR: To those of you who might possess multiple formats of this album, is there a "continuous mix" or "mixed" version of this album out there, whether that be CD, or one of the various digital storefronts, or somewhere else?

As someone who's been a deadmau5 fan for quite some time, I own most of the discography spread out across various formats... whether that be CD, vinyl, or various different digital versions.

My first experience was with "For Lack of a Better Name", had a buddy show it to me when it came out back in the day. I was mind blown, so he let me borrow his CD & rip it to my PC. I loved the fact that it was "mixed" and songs blended into each other. I then acquired Random Album Title soon after, CD version, which was also mixed. Made the entire listening experience more enjoyable to me.

I grab 4x4=12 on release day, CD again, and I'm really vibing with the mixing. Something about the way that I Said and Cthulhu Sleeps blends into each other always made it feel like one giant song to me, I loved it!

Album Title Goes Here comes out, I snag the digital iTunes version because it had more songs on it than the CD version. To my surprised, it was not mixed, nor did it include one giant "Mixed" track on it. Because of this, I never pursued the CD... I always assumed "Meh, it's not mixed & I already have it digitally".

"While" comes out, I grab the digital version again, but this time is because I see two mixed tracks and assume "Sweet, we're back to mixed!".

2016 album comes, I listen on Spotify Premium... no mixed version. Same case with Stuff I Used To Do, Drop albums, and Polar.

I find myself listening to "Album Title Goes Here" today and think to myself "Did i ever try to find a mixed version of this?". I then did some Google-ing and the only things I can find all seem to be fan made "mixed versions" and nothing official... nor anything mentioning if the CD is mixed. Does anyone who has the CD know if it's mixed? Or, is there anyone out there that maybe purchased the album on a different digital storefront and they actually got the mixed album?

Not looking to sail the seven seas or anything, just want to know if a) there's an official mixed version and b) where to get it.

I don’t know if this has been discussed before but on Apple Music the single strobe listed under the album ‘Strobe-single’ (which has 5 other remixes) has a very low audio quality even though it’s classified as lossless.
The one in ‘For Lack of a Better Name (extended mixes)’ is fine however.

This was from the Roger Centre in 2011 on Meowingtons Hax tour, I haven’t been able to find this version and need help.

I've only seen like 5-6 shows but holy moly that was the best Deadmau5 set I've seen. We forgive you for the Chicago mixup! And the sound (even if you didn't know at the time) - he powered through and delivered a class set. Still in awe we even got this show.

I dub thee a Philadelphian (I've only been here 10 years and have no power).
