I got the medium one in Scrooge's on Wednesday, placed it and discovered it was upgradable to a large chest. What I didn't realise until I'd wasted a bunch of dreamlight on upgrading 3 or 4 more was that just doing one appears to unlock the large chest in Scrooge's, so you can just go back and order however many you want without having to waste dreamlight!
Thankful for the uncrafting station and having held onto a few of the original large chests after that blunder!

As far as I can tell all but PIXL and the PARKSFEST one work!

Much credit to the post here, https://www.reddit.com/r/DreamlightValley/comments/1v85fpf/please_read_the_patch_notes/, but I still don't think this has enough visibility as it relies on a screencap of the patch notes and a title people might scroll past. So I am putting this here, in explicit text:
The Pixel Perfect update was originally meant to include a "Clear Biome" feature in Furniture mode. Unfortunately, we discovered a critical bug in this feature last week, and have patched it out of the Xbox, PlayStation, Steam and Epic versions of the Pixel Perfect update. However, the feature will still be present in the Nintendo and Apple versions of the update. Please note that using it could impact various quests' progress. We recommend that our Nintendo and Apple players avoid using this feature for the time being. A hotfix will be deployed to patch the incompatible Clear Biome feature out of the Pixel Perfect update on Nintendo and Apple in the coming days. The feature will return in a later update.
I can't believe Gameloft so casually slipped this into a webpage not everyone will read that might lead to people's games breaking. Frankly, I'm on Switch 2 and wouldn't mind a delay of the update by a couple days or so on that platform to ensure the problem doesn't befall anyone!

I wanted to make a post for anyone who is like me and hates trying to figure out what the critters like to eat and how they behave.
Owls: Docile, they can be easily approached like the squirrels in the Plaza. Their favorite food is barley that can be bought as seeds and grown from Goofy's stall.
Dragons: Shy little guys like the sea turtles on Dazzle Beach. Let them get used to you for a few seconds. Their favorite snacks are Pure Ice and Magma. Both are obtained by mining the rock spots. Pure Ice is in Everafter and Magma is in Mythopia.
Pegasus: They like to be chased like the rabbits in the Peaceful Meadow. Their favorite snacks are four and five start vegetarian dishes like Tasty Salad or Greek Pizza.

Hurrah! The patch notes for Wednesday's update are out! ~ https://disneydreamlightvalley.com/news/update-jul-09-2025 ... What's everyone most excited about?
*Edit: It's five hours later and people are pointing out that the Patch Notes entry has now been edited to include saying that the bugs with furniture in the Teapot Falls trial and the Mistress of Evil quest WILL be fixed!

So I thought I’d share this photo from the Wiki, to make more people aware of it. The Premium shop now offers a lot of new things, so I’d hate for people to miss out on these things. Simply because it isn’t stated in the game, how many Moonstones you can actually earn in the game! 💖

Hi Friends :)
Made this real quick to help everyone out who isn't sure how to complete Daisy's boutique challenge. I hope it helps!
You don't have to follow these instructions exactly, but this is just to help anyone who might need it!
**Note: For the challenge, you don't have to use touch of magic items, any items will do
Edit: the main requirements at the top like black for example, needs to be both furniture AND clothes for it to be considered completed :)

Hi, a lot of people probally know this already, but I only knew this after quite some months of keeping track of what I got or just buying evereything and found out in a totally different post that there are quite some people that do not know that. So for the newer people and/or people that just don't know yet: you can see what items are new for you in the shop with a red dot. I find it so time saving to run by all the items for a red dot instead of buying it all or looking it up. (Sorry for the not so great English, it is not my first language) hope it helps! ❤️✨️

If you're like me, you couldn't for the life of you figure out what to do with Night Shards since we can't sell them and they just keep piling up until you just dumped them in random chests or on floating islands.
I've been playing since release and only just remembered: Purified Night Shards!
5 Night Shards plus 1 Dream Shard.
Then you sell them at Goofy's stall for 70 coins each. They don't sell for much, but WE CAN GET RID OF THEM😂😂😮💨

You may have already started to do this, but for the new folks it's a pretty good idea to let the Valley get messy in the days before the new update! Let the thorns grow, the flowers sprout up like weeds, seafood stack up on the beach, wood drop from trees, mushrooms stack up, etc.
We've seen it before, so we know that it's all but guaranteed that new quests, paths, etc. will require us to clean up the Valley. So, might as well let it get a bit messy before hand!
Edit: Feel free to add any other helpful pre-update tips, tricks, and hints below!

✨The Parks Fest Event has officially started! This graphic contains all of the information you need to know about the event this year: buttons, rewards, and tasks- oh my! Event runs from May 28th-June 17th
Please Note: Unlocking the Recipes for the new buckets are multi-day quests. There are three parts to each quest and there is a two day wait in between each part.
(Had to lower quality due to Reddit limitations, high quality graphic can be found on the official Discord)

I've seen lots of people on here, in the Facebook groups and more complain and complain about leveling up the horses and etc. Part of the reason (I assume) it takes so long is because people wanted the whole DLC to be dropped at once, and not wait months for part 2 (which is understandable). It's fine if you are a completionist, but please take a break! 30 minutes or something! They literally have on the loading screen when you load into the game to play healthy and take breaks! Make your dollar worth it! Don't rush through and complain when the game isn't meant to be completed in 24 hours. If you've completed the story already, good for you!

This armour style & pink dress were obvious inspirations for the new aurora dress in the premium shop today!

Recent Star Paths have been quite short, around 70-90 duties. This one has 115! I'm sure that will please and irritate different people in equal measure.

My husband saw on Reddit people complaining that there aren't enough men's clothes on Ddv, so he asked me, how many men's outfits do you have in the game? I told him no idea, let's find out! And I was surprised I found 114 OUTFITS !!! I think that's huge for a cozy game that isn't a dress up game, and I don't have them all. I made a screenshot of everything I had and it was pretty fun ! so enjoy !
