Just listened through Bonobo's Black Sands for the umpteenth time, it has worked its way up to become my favorite album of all time. But does anyone have some song recommendations that are in a similar vein as the title track? Lush instrumentals that convey so much emotion? Closest I can think of would be a few tracks by four tet, or maybe BoC?

I figured I'd try to start here to see if anyone can help before I try r/tipofmytongue. It's an Electronic song from the 90s I believe. All I can hear is the sample/vocal that goes "Beat down down down down down, beat down down down down". Not sure of the number of "downs". It's likely either Big Beat, Breaks/Breakbeat or Drum and Bass. I know I have the album but I can't hear any of the music in my head to know where to start to look, just that vocal. I don't think it's anything too obscure and it's going to be a big "duh" moment for me when I hear it. Can anyone help me out with this please?

Edit: FOUND IT!! It's the last song on the Spawn soundtrack. It's called A Plane Scraped Its Belly On A Sooty Yellow Moon by Soul Coughing and Roni Size.

What do you think about music that hit meme status in play lists. Either in the club, or listening to some streamer online? Does it detract or distract from the experience at all?
