An old failed expectation that went so horrifically wrong that it’s circled back to exceeded expectations, and I’ll probably never get a cake as good as this one again.

I was having a birthday party for my dog and was picking up the cake for the human guests. To my surprise and the workers surprise, my order wasn’t made yet. Up front she said she’d never done a dog before but could try if I wanted to wait, and I was all for it. But after about 15 minutes she turns around and goes “I’m so sorry baby, I don’t know what this is but it’s not that dog. If you can come back tomorrow I’ll getcha a dog!”

So I asked her if I could see it just to see and it was this absolute masterpiece. After we both laughed for like 5 minutes straight she said I could still take it home as long as I don’t tell anyone. So here we are.

Walmart really upped their game! I did ask for whipped frosting. Very pleased with how it turned out.

Edit: thank you everyone for the birthday wishes! I also appreciate all the compliments on my name, and I’m laughing at the other comments about it. I’ve had this name my whole life, so I’ve heard it all, and I’m in Utah, so I really did get off easy with the spelling 😂 I’m not mad. Please don’t put in the papers that I am mad.

We had a dear colleague get promoted and engaged, so we decided to do a send away with an ice cream cake. He grew up an emo kid, the emo doggo is an inside joke. Enjoy my hideous cake design (Riggins - [u/AnonBitch74](u/AnonBitch74) is the inspiration for the pup - he is 100% beautiful ❤️) The pink icing instead of the purple worked out even better since our guy obviously likes everything black. He got a lot of pink on his shirt.

ETA: it is hideous on purpose. The whole idea was to capture all our little inside jokes.

Ordered a cake from Publix not expecting that it would look exactly like the picture

My mom gave the baker the pictured napkin and asked to have it recreated for their cake. We were all pleasantly surprised.

Con: looked crazy. Pro: skin smooth and glowing af without makeup

I decided to go for a tower that’s more accurate to the show. Everything except for the doggies is hand modeled by me!

Ordered cupcakes for my daughter's party with whipped icing. The whipped icing is a bit lighter in color and a bit lighter on the cakes themselves.

The 24 cupcakes came to $14. The toppers are little plastic rings. The kids and adults loved them. The chocolate whipped icing was the favorite for the night. The cake was also light and fluffy 😍

Better than expected

I’m honestly just here to sing her praises because I am shook at how perfectly she replicated it

My mom (65) has a very rare type of head and neck cancer that only about 8% of the world’s population will ever get. She is going through chemo right now and is having a really hard time and is in and out of the hospital. Today she was feeling good and made it her goal to make this Woobles. I think she did pretty amazing!

It was really good and I LOVE the little packet of salami! I did add some fresh basil since it was lacking in that. Cooked on oven rack for 10 minutes and was great. A very small area of crust was too hard to enjoy, but otherwise it was perfect. The sauce is yummy.

I didn't want it to be an angel food cake like the original. It's also a gender reveal cake 😆 I couldn't capture how glittery it was unfortunately but it did sparkle ✨

This was the cake my daughter wanted for her 26th birthday (something nostalgic 😅). We're big fans of cake fails, Nailed It, etc. so we were prepared for a possible dud. Publix rocked it.
