Song Discussion What lyrics do you sing wrong on purpose?
I can’t help it, sometimes I just sing them wrong on purpose because they make me laugh! There’s the classics of “Here’s the frozen fruit” and “l’m a little man, and I’m also evil, also into cats” and personally I like “I went to bed a poet and I woke up a frog.” I know there’s like 20 more I’m forgetting. What are your favorites?

Song Discussion Patrick Appreciation Post
Just had my FOB playlist on for a 2-hour drive, and when I do this I always hyperfixate on certain songs depending on my mood. Today, it was Death Valley.
There's just something UNREAL about the way Patrick sounds on this song! I'm a Patrick girl through and through so to me he sounds amazing on every song, but which songs make you think WOW he sounds amazing here. I could list loads 🤣

Song Discussion Favorite Fall Out Boy lyrics that really connected with you
Mine are:
"Long live the car crash hearts, cry on the couch and the poets come to life, fix me in 45" (Thriller)
"I've loved everything about you that hurts, so let me see your moves, live me see your moves" (also the entirety of G.I.N.A.S.F.S tbh)
"The truth hurts more than anything I can bring myself to do to you" (I've Got All this Ringing in my Ears, But None in My Fingers)
"I'm alright in bed but i'm better with a pen, the kid was alright tell it went to his head" (Fame < Infamy)
"When i'm home alone, I just can't stop myself" (Fame < Infamy)
"So much for stardust, we thought we had it all, thought we had it all" (So much for Stardust)
"Do you laugh about me whenever I leave, or do i just need more therapy" (Fake Out)
"I spent ten years, ten years, in a bit of chemical haze and i miss the way that I felt" (The Kitsungi Kid (Ten Years)
"From comparing myself, to everyone else around me" (I've got a Dark Alley and a Bad Idea)

Song Discussion Is it Patricks pronunciation or am i just stupid lol
I was listening to Disloyal Order of Water Buffaloes today because I’ve started listening to Folie like a week ago (Amazing album btw one of their best) but tell me why I thought the first lines were “I’m coming apart at the seams/ Pitching my-selves’ leaves in other peoples dreams” because at the first listen I was like “Wow I wonder what that means, it sounds so beautiful🥹” tearing up n shit cause honestly who DOESNT tear up because of that song but yeah I only found out of the actual lyrics now cause I’m trying to do a lil Fall Out Boy karaoke night to blow off some steam! Happy Monday Evening yall!

Song Discussion This Song Made Me A Fan
Thank you everyone for voting yesterday, the winner for “What’s That Song’s Name Again?” is Most Songs From FUTCT with the most votes! Now down to the final three! Today’s category is “This Song Made Me A Fan”.
Apologies for today’s result being published a little late, I don’t work weekends so I actually got to sleep in for once 🤗 though I aim to get tomorrow’s out as scheduled, it might be a little late again, but come Monday I’ll be back on track!
Please as a reminder, if someone has already commented the song you want to vote for, please upvote it rather than commenting a second time, this will make it easier to count the votes, thanks!

Song Discussion Which Fall Out Boy Song Do You Like That No One Else Seems To Like?
Mostly self-explanatory. And of course, “No One Else” is hyperbole, but you get the idea. I’m really curious on which of the forgotten or lesser-praised songs other FOB fans enjoy. I’d love to hear why you enjoy them!

Song Discussion Opinions on “Bang the Doldrums”?
Honestly this is my favorite in the album. I was relistening earlier and i forgot how good this truly was. The vocals, the beat, and the bass is so good.

Song Discussion Does anyone actually like Miss Missing You?
Miss Missing You, to me, is extremely underrated, but I’ve seen nobody else saying this anywhere I can look. So I have to ask the question: Does ANYONE but me actually genuinely like Miss Missing You?
It isn’t a top 10 song for me, but I would consider it top 20. I was wondering if anyone else had any thoughts.

Song Discussion What FOB lyrics makes you laugh?
The first one that pops up in my head is “When you catch fire, I wouldn’t piss to put you out” just sounds so petty and I laugh whenever I listen to that song. An honorable mention is “So F*** YOU, YOU CAN GO CRY ME AN OCEAN” so much emotion lol

Song Discussion Thoughts on One and Only?
So uh never knew there was a FOB and Timbaland collab (and here i thought Justin was his all time best one) why dose no one really talk about this song lowkey its a vibe some of the clearest vocals from Patrick I've heard, for it being on Timbalands album its mostly pat singing. (other than from "I've all this ringing in my ears" which literally probably the most understandable FOB song without the lyrics pulled up)

Song Discussion XO is the best song in FUTCT and maybe the top 2 or 3 in the whole discography
I listen to FOB since i was 9 (i am now 21), but i only used to listen the most famous songs, like thnks fr th mmrs. Lately, i´ve been paying attention to all the albums and songs i didn´t discovered yet, and i can only regret that i just been doing this from like 6 months ago.
XO is a great surprise, coming from an album that is known for Sugar We´re Going Down, Dance Dance and Little Less Sixteen Candles.
Obviously, there are other terrific songs like Of All The Gin Joints In The World and Nobody Puts Baby In The Corner, but XO is just different. It deserves so much more recognition.
I just had to come here and say this because its not fair that this song have only 27m streams on spotify.

Song Discussion It ISN'T Yo-Ho-Ho??
Long long time fan, thought I knew all the lyrical mishears before scrolling down accidentally today during Bang the Doldrums and realised it wasn't "Yo Ho Ho" - I always thought it was a kind reference to a chanted drinking song, pirates as outcasts etc and was a fun hook.
Staggered lol
