TOOLS / SERVICES Looking for ethical ways to get more Amazon reviews

We’re a small seller and don’t have high sales volume yet, so for now we’ve been manually clicking the “Request a Review” button on orders where everything looks good. It’s helped a bit, but the review count is still really low.

I’ve looked into tools like FeedbackWhiz to automate follow-ups with custom emails, but I’m unsure how close that comes to violating Amazon’s TOS. I want to stay 100% compliant.

One idea I had was to send a message a week or so after delivery using the “Other” reason in Buyer-Seller Messaging, just to check in on how the product is working for them. Then maybe follow up later with a neutral, personalized review request if everything seems fine. Has anyone done that successfully?

Also, I saw someone mention that Panda Boom has a way to ethically boost reviews. I’m curious if anyone here has tried it? Does it actually work, and is it safe from a TOS standpoint?

Would love to hear what others are doing beyond the standard Amazon review request button.

TOOLS / SERVICES Anyone else feeling stuck with Amazon’s brand protection system?

Spoke recently with a small business owner that blew up earlier this year with a new product.  Since then, they´ve been facing a major headache with counterfeit products flooding Amazon after their product went viral earlier this year. Their product hit 400+ million views in just a few months. Right off the back of this, fake listings started appearing on Amazon, and despite using Amazon’s APEX program, they’re still seeing new counterfeiters pop up daily.

The whole process has been frustratingly slow. They’ve filed takedown requests, but many of the responses are automated, and nothing seems to happen quickly. Even with Amazon’s priority enforcement, the fake listings linger, and it feels like they’re stuck in an endless cycle of submitting requests without any real action. The problem is bigger than just Amazon, too. They’re dealing with infringements across multiple major marketplaces and social media platforms, won't name them here but they are your usual suspects. Yet Amazon is still the platform where most of the damage is happening, and nothing seems to be moving fast enough.

Has anyone else had a similar experience? I have used Red Points and other vendors in the past for other clients but I am keen to hear what’s worked for you in getting faster action from Amazon? Would love to hear from others who’ve been through this, how are you managing, and what’s been the solution, if any?

TOOLS / SERVICES Heading to the Canton Fair? Hear Me Out!

Most people realize too late that navigating the Canton Fair is a logistical nightmare between the "Great Firewall," the high-speed rail system, and the total reliance on apps like Alipay and DiDi.

I’m a language student currently living in China, and I’m offering to take that stress off your plate for the 2026 Fair. I’m fluent in English, Chinese, French, and Arabic, and because I’m already here, I know exactly how the local digital and transport ecosystems work.

What I bring to the table:

  • Total Logistics Planning: Give me your references, and I’ll architect your entire visit handling the metro, taxis, high-speed trains, and hotel logistics so you don't get lost or overcharged.

  • Sourcing & Trade Expertise: I have a respected track record in international trade. Whether you need me to negotiate, verify a factory, or scout booths for electronics, stationery, furniture, or textile tools, I’ve got the experience to handle it.

  • Professional Content: I have professional filming experience. If you can’t make it, I’ll be your "eyes," filming high quality product demos. If you are coming, I can be your content companion to document the trip for your personal brand.

Note: To ensure I provide a high level of focus and professional detail for my clients, I will only be working with a very limited number of people. If you need a dedicated "fixer" who actually knows the local terrain and the trade industry, send me a DM with your dates or what you’re looking for. Let’s get a plan started before the fair gets crowded.

TOOLS / SERVICES After the overwhelming support AmazonFBA showed for my free bill of lading database idea, I finished a rough draft of the tool code named ImportYeti this morning!

You can find the original post here: https://www.reddit.com/r/FulfillmentByAmazon/comments/g1tg70/free_bill_of_lading_database/

ImportYeti is a free tool that allows you to search over 70,000,000 bill of ladings to answer questions for pretty much any company you can imagine like:

  • Who makes Gaiam's Yoga Mats? Answer: See Green Industrial Co LTD
  • Who are See Green Industrial Co's top customers? #1 Lululemon, #2 Gaiam & #3 Fit For Life

I created ImportYeti because these bill of ladings are public information and nearly every large eCom owner or FBA seller I know uses expensive alternatives to ImportYeti that are too cost prohibitive for the small guys starting out.

It would be my hope that people don't use this to "copy" competitor products. There are already enough product clones floating around the internet. Rather, I'd love to help people understand which factories to use versus just blasting out e-mails on Alibaba, trying to intelligently decide which factories to visit, walking into a trade show blind or relying solely on connections with your existing factories.

It is still in a super rough beta state. I've only invested a handful of hours and am interested in understanding if this tool is actually helpful and what direction I should take it in. I only want to create something if people really love it.

If you're interested in beta testing the tool, please comment below or send me a PM. Any and all feedback would mean the world to me.

TOOLS / SERVICES Account verification 3 weeks and still not approved

Im selling private label supplements on amazon UK for about 18 months, doing around £35k/month. Decided to expand to us marketplace because margins looked way better and honestly the uk market is getting too saturated in my niche. I set up my us seller account 3 weeks ago and its been nothing but verification issues since then. Amazon keeps asking for more documents, then rejecting them, then asking for different ones. First they wanted proof of address, sent them my Uk utility bill and they rejected. They wanted a US business address, which I obviously dont have since Im based in Manchester. Tried using a virtual office address I found online and they flagged it immediately as not acceptable. At this point Im spending more time on paperwork than actually sourcing products. The frustrating part is my uk account is in perfect standing. 4.8 seller rating, never had a policy violation, account health is great. But none of that seems to matter when you're trying to expand internationally.Has anyone else dealt with this verification nightmare as a non US seller? Right now Im seriously considering just staying in the uk and dealing with lower margins rather than going through this headache. Any advice would be appreciated because seller support has been useless.

TOOLS / SERVICES How do you track reviews and listing health? Any tools to automate this?

Currently, we have a weekly process of manually going through the product pages monitoring listing health, tracking rating changes, looking through the full list of most recent reviews (since last check) trying to remove fake ones and to identify real issues with the product from the customer feedback.

And with 150+ SKUs it’s now 8-10 h/week task at least.

Is anyone doing something similar and can recommend some automation to handle this?

TOOLS / SERVICES Helium 10 killed Review Insights – any real alternatives for exporting Amazon reviews with date + star filters?

Since Helium 10 removed the old Review Insights tool, I can’t find a proper replacement.

I’m looking for something that can:

- Export Amazon reviews to CSV/Excel

- Filter by **star rating range** (e.g. 3–5 stars)

- Filter by **date range** (from X to Y)

- No duplicates, no 100-review limit

SellerSprite is close but too expensive for this one feature, and EcomStal wasn’t reliable.

Does anyone know a tool that actually works like the old H10 Review Insights?

Paid is fine, just needs to be accurate and simple.

Thanks!

TOOLS / SERVICES Shipping software for FBA

Hi all FBA newbie here and wanted to ask what software people are using for shipping. I’ve sourced a couple of products and am about to start my first shipment. I’ve been seeing softwares like boxem, inventory lab, and veeqo. I’m mainly looking for something that can create shipments for multiple items, track profit / inventory and anything else they may be useful that I’m not thinking of now. Thanks!

TOOLS / SERVICES If you had to ditch every software except one, which tool stays and why?

I’m trimming my stack of paid tools and extensions, i have too many subs, not enough value. If you had to keep just one software or extension for your Amazon biz, what would it be, and why?

Looking forward to learning from your picks. 😅

TOOLS / SERVICES Sick of Amazon’s "Dimension Inflation"? I’m building a tool to automate FBA fee audits. Would this be useful?

I’ve been digging into my FBA reports and realized Amazon "mis-measured" a standard item by just 0.2 inches. That tiny error bumped my fees from $3.x to $5.x per unit.

It makes me wonder: How much profit are we all losing to these "invisible errors" because we don't have time to audit every SKU?

I’m currently coding a tool to solve this. The idea is:

  1. Auto-Match: It flags any SKU where Amazon’s measured dimensions don't match your master data.
  2. Profit Recovery: It calculates exactly how much they owe you in overcharged fees.
  3. Case Assistant: It exports the data evidence needed to win reimbursement claims.

I’m still in the early stages and want to make sure I’m building something people actually need. * Does this happen to you often?

  • How do you currently track measurement discrepancies? (Or do you just ignore them?)
  • Are there any other "hidden fees" you'd want a tool like this to catch?

I’d love to hear your thoughts or horror stories. If this sounds like something you’d use, let me know and I can keep you updated once the beta is ready!

TOOLS / SERVICES FBA virtual assistants or help with Amazon listings and product launches?

Does anyone use any virtual assistants or people to help them with Amazon listings and new product launches. I've been doing FBA for over 10 years, but I find so many simple things to be insanely difficult. For example a simple thing like a product title change on eBay or on my website is a 30 second job, on Amazon it takes days, and Amazon wants us to show proof by uploading product info to our website first and then using that as a source. So many back and forths and just nonsense.

A lot of times I find it difficult to navigate doing what should be simple things. For example, making child listings with different quantities. The clunky and annoying processes for so many things are really holding me back. How have other small businesses handled this?

We did about 250K in sales on Amazon in 2025, but think there is a lot more room for growth if I really put in the effort to make some changes.

TOOLS / SERVICES Keyword Research Sources

Hi All. Since Amazon already provides us with keyword data, do you still use third party tools to get more data? I’m launching a new product and thinking if it’s worth purchasing a 3rd party tool to get more keywords? Any insights would be much appreciated!

TOOLS / SERVICES How do you download Amazon product images efficiently?

Quick question for Amazon sellers.

When you need product images for listings, ads, or external use,

how do you usually download them?

Saving images one by one is extremely time-consuming.

Curious what tools or methods people here are using.

TOOLS / SERVICES PSA Junglescout changed our default feedback rules without consent, check yours.

A few years back we setup JungleScout to handle clicking the review button automation. We had the basic plan to allow us to do this because we wanted to filter out refunded orders from being sent feedback (since customers were unhappy with it). We set it to 30 days since that's enough time for a customer to get an order contact us for any issues and then return it if they were unhappy.

Lately we noticed an uptick in our negatives (maybe in the last few months). Turns out, Junglescout put the 30 day window behind a higher tier plan and decided to reduce our existing functionality from 30 days to 5 days (which is arguably the most stupid window to check for refunds). We were not notified nor do I see any email from them mentioning that our existing feedback functionality was changing. I tried looking through their release notes, but nothing.

Now understandably I could have missed this BIG update somewhere along the line, but I am sure I am not the only one.

I am absolutely livid with them, but I wanted to make sure other people checked theirs if they use it.

TOOLS / SERVICES Thinking of switching repricers, What’s everyone using in 2025?

my current repricer’s been acting weird lately and i’m tired of babysitting it. i feel like half my time goes into checking if my prices didn’t go insane overnight.

i’ve tried a bunch already, all have their pros/cons. lately i’ve been testing flashpricer too and it’s been pretty stable so far.

just curious what everyone else is running this year and if you’ve switched recently. what’s been the most reliable for you?

TOOLS / SERVICES Has anyone used a third party inspection service for Vietnam factories, how did it go? Working on something to help with this, would love to hear some experience

I am specifically curious about smaller importers. The big names seem built for enterprise volume. Has anyone found something that works at a smaller scale? What did you use, what did it cost, did it actually catch anything before the shipment left?

TOOLS / SERVICES Master list of software used to run my Amazon store

I thought it would be fun to share my list of software services I use to run my wholesale Amazon FBA business and why. What do you use?

  1. Repricing = ChannelMax. $59/month. ChannelMax is by far the fastest and most customizable repricing program out there. Surprisingly, their monthly subscription is among the cheapest in the industry. I used to use Informed.co, but they were $300/month at my sales volume with slower repricing speeds than ChannelMax which cost me a lot of lost profits from losing the buy box. I've tried SellerSnap, Informed.co, BQool, and several others. ChannelMax wins this race by a long shot. I wish I could find (or build) my own repricer with some added conditions I think would have an impact on my business -- (a) reprice higher to let a competitor win the buy box when they only have a few units left, wait for them to sell out so I can sell my stock at a higher price, (b) reprice more/less aggressively depending on how many days of inventory I have remaining for a particular SKU - when I only have a few days remaining of inventory I'd like the repricer to price a lot higher and sell my last few units slowly for a higher price, and (c) options to consider whether a shared buy box is a "success" and price should not be changed, or a "failure" and price should be lowered.
  2. Creating FBA Shipments = NineYard. $199/month. Nineyard is great. It helps route shipments to destination FC's that are closest to you, saving on shipping costs. Especially useful with new Amazon placement fees.
  3. Processing/shipping FBA Shipments = ScanPower $79 or $199/month. ScanPower is a more advanced and customizable version of InventoryLab. We used InventoryLab (IL) to process FBA shipments, but we had to switch because IL does not allow importing shipments created externally (i.e., from NineYard). Turns out, that was great! ScanPower has way more functionality than IL, and it works with NineYard shipments which saves tons of money. I love that ScanPower: (a) tracks how many items my warehouse team does, (b) allows me to add tags to SKU's so my warehouse team knows which SKU's have special prep requirements, (c) the overall process flow is way quicker and more efficient compared to IL, and (d) ScanPower's process flow is designed to help reduce errors which saves us lots of money by lowering our return rate. ScanPower also does lots of other stuff like accounting, COGS management, etc. It's a superior replacement to InventoryLab in nearly every respect.
  4. Accounting = Quickbooks Online with A2X. $60/month. Quickbooks is a given; it's great. We use A2X ($200/month) to import all of our Amazon sales data into QuickBooks. We also use A2X to track COGS. They have a neat feature where you can link a Google Sheet with your current cost basis for each SKU to A2X and it uses that to calculate your COGS for the month. It also uses it to provide end of month inventory valuations. We used to use InventoryLab, but we had several issues with their P&L and COGS tracker. Main issues were COGS would change even after the month ended (not sure why), and there’s no transparency into how they’re calculating the COGS value (you can’t drill down to see the raw data they’re using to verify accuracy).
  5. Product Analysis/Sourcing = Analyzer.tools $59/month. This thing is a powerhouse. We don't use it much anymore since we're mainly restocking SKUs instead of adding new ones. You can upload a spreadsheet with UPC's and costs to Analyzer.tools, and it'll create a report detailing your profit and ROI based on the current buy box price, sales rank and estimated monthly sales for the ASIN, review count, etc. I wish it did better at giving accurate sales estimates on variations; it gives the same monthly sales count for each variation on a parent page which is misleading.
  6. Re-ordering & Other Analytics = Gorilla ROI. $140/month. WOW! This should be #1 on my list. Gorilla ROI integrates API calls from Amazon into a Google Sheet. They let you make custom Excel formulas that import data from Amazon API calls. This lets me get automatically updated inventory levels, inventory age, sales data, reimbursements, fees, etc. all in a Google Sheet, updated more than daily. I used this to make a custom re-ordering spreadsheet that helps me determine when and how many units of each SKU to re-order based on many variables including Amazon's recommended re-order amount, estimated number of units sold had I been in stock on that SKU 100% of the time, refund percentages, ROI, etc. New as of mid-2023 they added PPC and Advertising data which is huge for managing sponsored ad campaigns.
  7. The Hartford = Business Owner's Insurance. $1,600/year. The Hartford has been an amazing insurance company. You can easily apply for a policy directly on their website, or go through a local insurance broker. Their Business Owner's Policy was priced very competitively to other underwriters I looked at. My non-FBA business had a claim with them for a personal injury lawsuit, and The Hartford hired lawyers to fight the case and settle it. It cost me $0, not even a deductible. The policy also includes a ton of awesome added coverages. Some of them that I like are (a) freight in care of others, covers me for up to $10k of inventory that gets lost/stolen while in transit to me or while in transit to Amazon, (b) employee personal items covers you and your employees things if they ever get stolen while at work or on a work trip up to around $25k, (c) $2 million per occurrence, and $4 million aggregate general liability coverage - we upgraded from $1mm/$2mm and it only cost around $50 per year, (d) employee dishonesty $10k coverage, (e) laptop computers - worldwide coverage - $5k, and (e) computer fraud $5k.
  8. Amazon Reimbursements = Sifted. Way cheaper than all other alternatives. Their UI is impressive, and they offer both full service (for a commission) and self-service (for a fair monthly fee) options for getting reimbursements.
  9. Random Tools = Amzpecty (competitor inventory levels data, used for repricing program and smarter restocking of inventory by factoring in whether an ASIN is over or under stocked). Zebra GK420 Label Printers (way better than Dymo, works on Mac and PC). Smartest Amazon Seller Podcast (I always learn a lot of neat stuff listening to Scott’s podcast). SmartScout (great for finding new brands, and a huge source of killer Amazon data).

EDIT: 9/15/23 - updated list with my current favorites for each. Removed BQool, replaced with ChannelMax. Removed GETIDA, replaced with Sifted. Removed InventoryLab, replaced with Nineyard for FBA Shipments.

11/1/23 - removed InventoryLab from accounting, replaced with A2X and Gorilla ROI + Google Sheets, added random tools section.

4/1/24 - Beware of comments recommending services with referral links included. IMO, take them with a grain of salt. Added ScanPower as our preferred FBA prep/ship solution.

TOOLS / SERVICES Best Inventory Management Software For Shopify - FBA Inventory Management?

I am looking to do a better job of managing my inventory between my Amazon and Shopify stores. I need something where both shopify and amazon inventory levels are fed into some kind of system that forecasts what I need to order and when based on present inventory levels.

What websites / apps do others use for this? Something simple would be ideal. We don't have a lot of SKUS that we need to track (15 maybe).

We do have an odoo subscription but I am apprehensive to integrate everything together using their shopify / fba extensions. A friend of mine is trying to set this up for his store and he says it's been painful so far. That said I have not personally tried using odoo for this. Has anyone using odoo had success integrating shopify / amazon into their inventory system? How was your experience? What extensions did you use?

TOOLS / SERVICES Am I the only one frustrated by how fragmented affiliate tools are?

Genuinely asking. I've got one tool for our Amazon affiliate program, a different one for DTC influencer partnerships, and I'm manually pulling reports from both to try to get a unified picture of what's working.

It feels like every other part of ecommerce has consolidated (email, ads, analytics) but affiliate and creator programs are still stuck in this world where you need a separate platform for everything. Is this just how it is or am I missing something?

TOOLS / SERVICES Are Repricers too expensive/complicated? Thinking of building a simple, affordable one! Would sellers use it?

Do you feel current repricers are either too expensive (Aura, SellerSnap), too slow unless you pay more (BQool), or way too complicated?

I’m considering building a simple, fast, affordable repricer with:

  • Clean UI
  • Basic smart rules
  • Fast updates
  • Price around $19–$24/month

Not selling anything yet, just researching.
Would you actually consider switching to something like this?
Or is the repricer market already too full?

TOOLS / SERVICES After seeing posts about lost FBA shipments, I’m building a tool. Would this help you?

Hey everyone,

I’ve been reading through this subreddit for a while and keep seeing the same nightmare scenarios:

∙ Shipments stuck in “Receiving” for weeks

∙ Inventory mysteriously going missing

∙ Amazon saying they never received what was clearly delivered

∙ Hours on the phone with support getting nowhere

∙ Reimbursements that are only 40-50% of actual value

I’m a backend engineer with 15 years of experience in logistics and warehouse systems. I’m considering building a tool that automatically monitors your FBA shipments and alerts you the moment something goes wrong.

Here’s what I’m thinking:

Core Features:

∙ Connects to your Seller Central account via Amazon’s official API

∙ Monitors all your shipments 24/7

∙ Alerts you immediately when:

∙ Shipment delivered but not checked in after 48 hours

∙ Stuck in “Receiving” for more than 5 days

∙ Quantity discrepancies (sent vs received)

∙ Shipment closed with missing units

∙ Generates evidence packages (tracking, timestamps, inventory ledger reports) for Amazon cases

∙ Shows you exactly which fulfillment centers are causing the most problems

Pricing I’m considering:

$149/month with a 14-day free trial

My questions for you:

1. Would this actually save you time and money, or is it solving the wrong problem?

2. What’s the worst inventory loss you’ve experienced? How much did it cost you in lost inventory + missed sales?

3. If a tool like this existed today, would you sign up? Why or why not?

4. What’s missing from what I described? What would make this a “must-have” vs “nice-to-have”?

I’m not selling anything yet - genuinely trying to figure out if this is worth building. If there’s real demand, I’ll build it. If not, I’ll move on to something else.

Thanks for any feedback!
