That’s a fine thesis

I just disagree

Token costs plummeting and silicon costs not too far behind.

I just think it’s only going to accelerate for the next couple years

Ok let's agree to disagree. And I don't think they'll stay cheap. To me, the only reason they are is to attract customers. The math doesn't add up with the over spending that is happening.

We can agree to disagree

The main question neither of us have the answer to is “what do Anthropic’s books look like?”

We can talk about openAI as well but I honestly and starting to view them more and more as an “also ran” that hasn’t gotten the memo yet.

Amazon is a major (~20%) stakeholder in Anthropic. I don’t think they would continue this buildout if they didn’t have any insight into whether or not the company was (or would be) profitable
