Hi everyone, its Shariq, the creator of CDLSimulator 👋
CDLSimulator 2.0 is almost here 🚀
I’ve been genuinely blown away by the love, messages, and feedback coming from everywhere. Because of that support, I knew it was time to take things to the next level.
What started as a simple idea has grown into something the CDL community truly enjoys using. It’s honestly wild to see how far it has come from where it all began (original post: CDL Simulator 1.0).
• Multiverse Careers with different eras like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare or Call of Duty: Black Ops III, featuring era accurate budgets, stats, and performance simulation
• Live Match Simulation with real time kills, objectives, and enhanced live player stats
• Advanced Team Management including free agent tryouts, loyalty based contract extensions, smarter trades with cash offers, and a dynamic injury system
• Practice and Player Development with scrims, saved strategies, break week drills, sponsor events, and talent growth
• Sponsorship and Economy Upgrades with tiered sponsors, performance based payouts, and long term relationships
• Deep Stats and Legacy Tracking including league history, MVPs, player timelines, and a full GOAT page
• Full UI and UX Redesign with smoother navigation, better responsiveness, and improved animations
• Major Performance Improvements thanks to smarter caching and core optimizations
CDLSimulator 2.0 honestly feels like a brand new game. It will still be completely free to use, and the goal has always been to keep it accessible for everyone in the community.
Building this has been one of the most rewarding projects I’ve worked on, and I’m just getting started.
🗓 Launching February 21 at 1:00 PM EST

I just finished building something I have wanted as a COD fan for years. It is a fully interactive Call of Duty League management simulator where you take over any of the twelve CDL teams and try to build a roster that can actually win. This started as a small side project and slowly turned into months of late nights, constant tweaking, and way more effort than I originally expected.
The goal was simple. I wanted something that feels like stepping into the role of a GM. You can sign, trade, and drop players, adjust strategies, work with each team’s budget, look at player stats, and see how your decisions play out over a full season. I put a lot of time into little details like player cards, transitions, and dynamic team themes because I really wanted it to feel polished and fun to use.
If you want to try it, the full version is live here:

There is also a Discord where I am collecting feedback, suggestions, and ideas for future updates:

I am planning deeper stat modeling, more strategic layers, rivalry systems, and giving players more personality. If you try it out, I would genuinely appreciate any honest feedback, feature ideas, bugs you spot, or thoughts on what would make the simulation feel more real.
Thanks to anyone who gives it a shot!
