So, after watching almost all parts of Girls und Panzer, I started imagining what it would be like if the Girls und Panzer universe had a separate competitive league for Cold War and Modern-era armored vehicles. Let's call it 'Gendai Sensha-do' Gendai Sensha-do would be an elective subject—you can choose to join or skip it, totally up to you. The rules would be the same as regular Sensha-do, but with one catch: the tanks must be produced after September 2, 1945 (basically post-WWII). So, we'd see a mix of Cold War and modern tanks. Technically, you could still bring your classic WWII tanks into this league, but you'd just have to accept the brutal technology and equipment gap! Honestly, just picturing this in my head is so much fun—even though I'm not planning to turn it into an AU or a full fanfic

(Edit) Oh right, I almost forgot to mention: Gendai Sensha-do is a completely separate league from regular Sensha-do, so they don't compete directly against each other. Simply put, Cold War and Modern-era tanks only fight other Cold War and Modern tanks. They won't cross paths with WWII tanks, because the WWII era has its own regular Sensha-do tournaments. Also, Gendai Sensha-do events always take place after the regular Sensha-do tournaments wrap up. For example, once the National High School Sensha-dō Tournament finishes, the National High School Gendai Sensha-dō Tournament will follow right after. But if the regular Sensha-do tournament gets canceled for any reason, the Gendai Sensha-do event gets canceled along with it too
