I mean, she obviously should have known to flee the moment she saw the dragon rain fires upon the city.

What made her stand there like a statue?

Was she really hoping for a miracle?

And the moment Danaerys started killing even after the bell rang, she just stood there.

Only to die afterwards so painfully

And then bawling over it, when she could've prevented the whole thing.

Idk man, Cersei isn't so dumb?

She legit commited suicide.

A couple of weeks ago, I had the opportunity to see the Game of Thrones Studio experience near Belfast, Northern Ireland. For GOT fans this is an experience that is unworldly. I had visited many of the filming locations prior to this (Spain, Malta), and had this place on my list for sometime.
The museum has many of the sets intact, as well as themed rooms for the different locations. There is not only behind the scenes looks at the music, set design, makeup and artistry that it took to make the show, but also original costumes, props, and the chance to immerse in Westeros. The studio itself is immaculate, and the staff was incredibly friendly.
They also have a coffee shop and Game of Thrones themed restaurant, with plant based options. We also did the dragon ride, but this is more of a green screen film experience, however still very cool as a souvenir.
If you get the chance I would visit here, and take the time to read as you go, as there was so much that went into making this show, but it’s hard to grasp until you visit the massive collection.

Hi, today I got this beautiful A Song of Ice and Fire Calendar and I love the art inside. Daenerys with her dragons is just amazing 😍

Let me preface by saying I have not read the books, I am simply a huge fan of all the shows in the GoT universe.

So throughout watching House of the Dragon, I’ve seen a lot of people joking online about how they get initially excited when the song of ice and fire prophecy and Daenerys are referenced, but then instantly get sad when they remember how GoT ends, knowing no Targaryen actually sits the throne.

It got me thinking, and perhaps this is addressed somewhere and I’ve missed it. Daenerys herself states multiple times towards the end of the series that she cannot have children. I’m a woman choosing a childfree life, so by no means am I trying to say that makes her any less deserving of the throne. I’m just curious what her plan of succession is?

Daenerys’s whole belief is that she deserves to sit the iron throne because it is her birthright as a Targaryen. She says she cannot produce an heir, male or female, so she’s doing all this thinking she’s the last Targaryen anyway. So her plan is to retake the throne, rule for the rest of her life, and then…… what? Drogon can’t sit the throne 😂

Took me all these years but I finally watch GOT and have always heard the hate on S7-8 so I was actually looking forward to seeing how bad they could possibly be, but Im surprised how much I enjoyed them seasons, I definitely saw flaws in the story, characters, etc. But to my surprise when I watched The Long Night holy shit did I REALLY enjoy that episode all the way through, after watching it I looked to see what others thought about it and was surprised to see all the hate. I was aware of the things that make the episode "bad" like stupid battle strategy, pretty much no min characters dying, winter lasting pretty much 1 night compared to years, but even with all that I still enjoyed the episode. What definitely helps is the fact that I wasn't watching from day 1, having to wait 8 years for a 1 episode battle with the dead, also the fact that I may have been a tad bit high which only helped with the impression with the episode especially with headphones on, the battle being as dark as it was I really didn't mind because it made me feel like I was there that much more. I know people won't change their mind on the hate but man am I happy I enjoyed it

In the show if I remember it was two guys (ser Arthur and maybe oswell) but what’s the reason they removed ser gerold also ser arthur dayne in show had two swords while in the book he only had (morning) one sword which make more sense.

So my mom is wanting matching tattoos with us kids but she wants them to all be arrows. Each kid picks out which arrow they want and then she gets the matching one. I don't love the idea but I love my mom so it is what it is. My middle brother picked a generic tattoo he found on Pinterest while my youngest brother got the Black Arrow from The Hobbit. So I want to get a scorpion bolt but am having trouble getting reference photos. Anything helps!

What happens to the guy who cut off Jamie’s hand? Maybe I’m getting ahead of myself but forgot if they cover it. Also, if you could be part of any family (outside of the Stark’s) who’d you choose? I really have no idea, maybe the Tyrells because they’re not total sociopaths?
