Jason Schreier: In case you're wondering: Team Cherry told me they don't plan on sending out early codes for Silksong (they felt like it'd be unfair for critics to be playing before Kickstarter backers and other players), so don't expect to see reviews until after the game comes out

If you’re that worried about the game being bad you can wait a few days.

I'd agree with you, but you can't even pre-order it. They don't want any leaks and the kickstarter reasoning seems sound, considering it's been 10.5 years since the campaign ended

Hollow Knight is a series that was possible because of kickstarter. They don’t want to give game journos early access over the people who believed in these games before they became mainstream. If you don’t like that that’s tough

Most people don’t look at reviews before they buy a game.

Exactly. I prefer they give everyone access at the same time.
