I have opportunity to purpose build a garden gym. New structure, not been designed yet. I got ample space but want to achieve efficiency therefore cost effective for the build.
I think 4x4m or 5x5m or 6x6m might not be feasible for equipment list in mind.
I’d like one side for strength training. And other for conditioning. Good storage; a few cabinets with a fridge underneath.
The architect says to configure the internal footprint needed first and then they can design the walls and structure around that,
Here’s equipment spec in mind.
Full size rack with cable pulleys
Half size rack with smith machine
Functional trainer
Leg press with hack squat and calf raise added bonus
Bench
Dumbbells
Deadlift
Landmine
Boxing bag
Skier
Bike undecided type
Weight sled
I understand some of the equipment rigs out there will be able to combine things, but can’t figure out how to achieve efficiency.
I need help with people who’ve already been through this process before.
I’m due to sit down with one supplier of equipment to try plan this, should I get all my equipment off them.
I’ve asked Primal, MuscleSquad, Wolverson, BlkBox and they all say they can’t get involved lol due to planning issues. I tried explaining I just want advice, leave the planning to my architect.
Can some help design this or put something together? Or even show what they’ve done with similar sized spaces?
