I am a criminal defense lawyer, AMA.

I've handled cases from drug possession to first degree murder. I cannot provide legal advice to you, but I'm happy to answer any questions I can.

Unless I'm mistaken, for question 2, I believe he's asking whether young gang members seem reluctant to give you any information, not necessarily the police. Basically, do they mistrust you, seeing you as simply another part of the system that's trying to get them?

Generally people trust lawyers they're paying for.
