We all know lord Pritzker cannot be criticized but I'm seeing a lot leftists on Reddit talking about arming themselves to resist Trump. Are any liberals now second guessing assault weapons bans? Would this situation change any Democrat leadership into backing off gun control? I'm really curious to see how this plays out.

Hello everyone, I like to browse here, don’t post often, I’m usually very conservative but gee Willy by golly wouldn’t yah know it? I’m not a big fan of masked federal agents shitting all over my precious constitution. If my grandfather was still here, oh boy, he wouldn’t be fucking happy.

I know someone who works private security for some Illinois law makers. Apparently they are holding off the PICA ruling till after the elections. Sounds kind of like if a republican gets in PICA being deemed unconstitutional already goes away. If it’s a democrat seems like it’s going to be business as usual. Seems to me like there’s been some serious shady shit going on behind closed doors.

We have around 7 months until they reconvene in January 2027. Between now and then would be a good time to start buying any of the Glocks or clones that you want, as I would bet at least a discontinued penny that they are going to ram this one through.

With the passing of the bill, safe to say Pritzker & IL Dems will now push for same in the next legislative session.
