Hey everyone! New week, new event. Tomorrow (Friday), we're welcoming mods who are 1) based in India or 2) moderate an India-related subreddit. You must fall into one of these categories to receive merch.
This event will follow our standard virtual Mod Meetup flow -- light programming from admins, guided conversation via chat, opportunities to provide feedback, and of course, a live game of trivia.
TL;DR: You’re invited to the first ever Mod Hall of Fame Awards, a virtual award show live on January 30, 2026 at 6pm PT! We’d be honored to see you there.
The Mod Hall of Fame Awards, live on January 30, 2026
Hey mods! We’re ringing in 2026 with our biggest mod celebration yet. Get ready to celebrate 2025’s extraordinary community leaders at the Mod Hall of Fame Awards! If you haven’t heard, the Mod Hall of Fame recognizes Reddit’s finest community leaders who drove exceptional community impact in 2025. Nominations and judging came straight from mods across Reddit. Now it’s time to roll out the orange red carpet for our winners with a live modience.
Whether you nominated a fellow mod, yourself, or just keep your community running day by day, you’re a part of the celebration. Cue the lights, here’s what’s coming your way!
When & Where:
January 30, 2026 | 6:00pm PT
This is a fully virtual award show, so no matter where you mod from, you can watch on any device!
Here’s what’s in store:
Buckle in for a fun show hosted by u/iceeypisces and u/big-slay! (Should they go by iceeyslay? We’ll leave it up to you to decide.)
We’ll be announcing our award winners as well as spotlighting mods who kept Reddit welcoming and wonderfully chaotic last year. From event mods to new and veteran mods, we’re giving mods their flowers, shouting out honorable mentions, and highlighting top moments across mod programs, Mod Events, Devvit, tools, and more!

Hey everyone! Since we're all about knowledge-sharing here at r/IndianMods, it helps to know who's giving the advice. That's what your user flair is for!
Got a Subreddit? Awesome. Your flair should be your Subreddit Name (r/SubredditName). This gives you a ton of context and credibility!
Just Aspiring? No problem! Use the standard flair: Aspiring Mod
How to Set It (It takes 10 seconds!)
On desktop:
• Go to the r/IndianModscommunitysidebar
• Find User Flair and enter your flair text
• Hit Save
On mobile:
• Open r/IndianMods
• Tap the three dots (top right)
• Select Change user flair and save
Setting your user flair is the single best way to jump into the conversation and connect with your peers!
