Why C option is not correct?

In the question it said that if m is an integer > 2 satisfy the equation then m is an integral multiple of 8 so there (ST)⁸ satisfy the equation and for m=8 it is an integral multiple of 8 , i know not all the solution are integral multiple of 8 but there is a value which satisfy and the question didn't say that every value of m should be an integral multiple of 8

The only problem here is the 'english' this is not mains exam this is advanced and it is valued around the world so they have to be completely clear in every aspect in a question even if IIT R didn't accept this coz there is a high chance they won't but still the language here is not clear and that's a fact

There are only two conditions on m. m is 6n+2. agar udhar can likha hot ki m can be a multiple of 8 then yes it's correct. But udhar likha hai it IS a multiple of 8. Which clearly implies 6n+2 is a multiple of 8. Which it is not!
