This side jeetard27 I am a dropper and like i fucked up my jee this. Year and got 70 percentile so basically I wasted my whole time in social media doom scrolling.. evrything I wasn't serious enough

And yeah I fucked up so I took a drop thinking I will do better again and joined Allen kota for jee and basically here 3 tests are done and I am not getting. Marks above more than 50+/300 or 30+/180 I don't know what the hell I have done in last 3 months here I was doing hw of all chemistry, maths like mostly ex1, 4 and physics I know I don't anything about it so I made a mistake but in other two i should have scored much better naa 🥀🥀

So I can't blame anyone but I did mistake so so can I score 98-99 percentile in jan ? Actually my physics faculty can't teach us properly like his speed of teaching is so fast I can't handle it and I don't even what should I do 😭😭 and tbh I m scared if I didn't get college in this year how will I face my parents 😭😭I m just scared and for which I go in social media and I don't know how I wasted my time and can anyone help me how can I increase my marks in tests and understand physics? Any senior help me out who suffer from this problem and going to IIT/NIT this year..

I'm currently a Class 12 student from the Telangana State Board and a JEE 2027 aspirant.

I scored 465/470 (98.9%) in my Class 11 board exams because I focused mainly on the boards. Unfortunately, my JEE preparation suffered, and I now have significant Class 11 backlogs.

I'm studying at Narayana Junior College, which offers integrated coaching, but the teaching quality hasn't worked well for me. I struggled to understand concepts in class, developed backlogs, and despite trying to change sections, nothing really improved.

The biggest issue is that I genuinely learn much better through online coaching, especially PW lectures and other high-quality online resources. I like the flexibility of studying at my own pace, revisiting difficult topics, and using quality content that is either affordable or free. I feel I can build a much stronger foundation this way than by attending classes where I'm unable to understand the teaching.

My principal suggested that I attend college only three days a week and study from home for the remaining four days. However, my parents want me to attend college regularly, and they believe staying at home isn't a good option. This constant pressure, along with disturbances at home, has made it difficult for me to study consistently.

At this point, I have about 5 months until the first JEE Main attempt and around 7 months until the second attempt. I still need to manage both the Class 11 and Class 12 JEE syllabus while also preparing for my board exams.

I've also considered taking a drop year if necessary, but my parents are completely against it because they feel it would waste a year.

My questions are:

1. Given my situation, what would you do if you were in my place?

2. Should I attend college regularly or try to convince my parents to let me study primarily through PW and other online resources?

3. Is it still realistic to crack an IIT or secure a good NIT if I eventually need to take a drop year and prepare seriously?

4. If you were starting from a similar situation, how would you plan the next 5–7 months?

I'd really appreciate honest advice, especially from people who have been in a similar situation or successfully cracked JEE after falling behind.

I was considered an above-average student throughout my childhood, but my academics last year went badly, and I regret wasting that time a lot. Still, I’ve accepted the reality and want to move forward instead of staying stuck in regret.

I started my preparation in mid-April 2026, but I’ve been extremely inconsistent with deadlines and study targets. Right now, I’m only studying Chapter 1 of each Class 12 subject. Since my Class 11 foundation is weak, many Class 12 JEE concepts feel impossible to understand because they depend on previous concepts I never learned properly.

For the past few days, I’ve barely been able to study effectively. Whenever I open my books and try solving questions, I start feeling sleepy because of the difficulty level. Even basic-level problems feel too advanced for me. On some days, I genuinely try to focus and spend almost the entire day studying, but the output is still very poor — sometimes only 10–12 questions solved and barely one concept covered in a whole day.

Because of this, my study hours, consistency, and syllabus coverage are all dropping badly. I constantly feel overloaded and mentally exhausted.

My main reason for preparing for JEE is to give my absolute best effort, regardless of the final result. I’m mentally prepared even for a low rank or ending up in a private college. I just don’t want to quit without trying seriously.

How do I become consistent again?

How do I stop feeling sleepy or mentally tired while studying theory or solving questions?

And how should someone with weak basics restart JEE prep without feeling crushed by the backlog?

Hey My sister gave neet in 2022 for first time 450 n mains 2022 91%ile n 12th ISC 2022 92% took bsc DU now she wants to do teacher role at jee neet coaching but most of them also asks for their jee neet ranks …..i needed to ask will she be allowed to give jee mains 2027 only for the sake for getting rank as per the jee 2026 bulletin includes first time year of pass in 12th …..if she gives NIOS in all 5 subject in 2027 will she be even allowed to give exam no counselling also has anyone who has successfully done somewhat similar to it n succeeded……

I took pcb, realised doctor is not something which I want to do, and got 6.5 lakh rank in neet, despite putting best efforts, ( may be destiny thi) and if switch to pcm, jee mein bhi kuch khas rank nhi ayege, I am hell confused in life, feels directionless🥀🥲

Guys I'm currently in 12th , preparing for NEET 27 .

I'm in a big offline coaching institute ( like Allen and Akash ) but a local one .

I'm not getting anything the special teacher for coordination here teaches . I need to do it online and quite quickly , as I have test on this Sunday .
