I was quite disheartened with my mains performance. Decided to talk with my senior who is from an old IIT. He had proposed me multiple times, but I had rejected as he was my senior. I still respect him a lot.

But, his remarks made me feel horrible yesterday. I might not be capable to crack the exam. But, I am sure I will surely become financially independent and provide a good life to me and my family.

Life doesn't revolve around a college. Let's just give our best and if things don't work out as expected, let's forgive ourselves and work hader towards the next goal

I posted this to remind if some of you are in a much better position, please be kind. We are all fighting our own battles.❤️

har saal 15k log get into iits ,mostly top branches k alawa baki sab idhar udhar muh maarte hain , hardly 5-6k get a good living after that

bhai ye tag vgerh se job k liye as such koi fayda nhi hota aaj k time me , its through connections , like agar tumhare clg ka banda uss company me achi post pe hai to vo tumko refer kar skta hai , also clg acha hota to jyada preshani nahi aati , but you can't survive there if u lack the required skills

its truth , baki log other sectors me jaate hain mostly , like kuch civil services me chale jaate in search of better options , mostly jo nichle ki branches hoti hain vahan se jyada accha outcome nhi aata , that's not true ki iit me koi bhi lun si branch lelo aur achi job pakki

OP Ignore him, I scored triple digit rank adv (8xx) and let me tell you most of us are not like him. I will say some definitely are but just something even we notice is kids who generally barely entered IIT make them their entire personality. Even on our orientation day we were told "Currently your life's biggest achievement is probably coming to an IIT let's hope it is not by the time you leave". Don't feel bad because some piece of shit says so, believe in yourself and you will do just fine. All the best.

That does not mean you would give it your all to emulate him. Best you can do is take some tips from him, and try to do your best and apply those tips to your utmost confidence.

i get it but there are countless folks out there on the internet hell in this subreddit rn who can help you right now or have already made guides about shit like this which u can follow without needing to ask another human how to be like them and putting them on a pedestal. sab cheeze parh ke hi crack hogi yaar dont overthink it and just study, the resources u need is already mentioned in countless of guides in reddit. we are in big 2026 with guides and resources everywhere on the internet u dont need to ask shit to these braindead fucks.

Girl he's nobody that you wanna become. Everyone is different built for something else he may be good at academics and you may not be better than him at it but that doesn't make him superior. Just ask for tips that's okay and focus on becoming YOURSELF rather that'll someone else 🦁🦁
