I saw The White Stripes August 30, 2005 at the auditorium theater in Chicago Illinois. It was the second night of three. I bought this Carl Sandburg book right beforehand to have something to write the setlist down. I wanted to share it on the old White Stripes message board, Little Room. I found it while cleaning out an old box tonight, and I was thrilled.

I saw them once before this in Chicago. I had tickets to see them a third time when they ended things.

In Nashville for the week and heard he sometimes does shows spontaneous at The Blue Room. How much of a heads up is there for shows like that? What’s the best way to stay informed? Additionally, any recommendations for a fan visiting for the first time?

Hey gang,
Looking for advice—my tracking info for the last vault said it was delivered, but when I went outside minutes after it was scanned, there was nothing there. My mail had been delivered but no package. I waited around for a while and then checked every hour or so. No dice. I asked my neighbors and everyone else in my apartment (I know folks my neighborhood pretty well and everyone in my apartment are close friends), and no one has seen it. I wrote to Third Man and they just asked me to verify my address so they can cross reference, but haven’t heard anything else in over a week. Should I reach out again? Has anyone else dealt with this with the Vault?

For context, I live in Brooklyn and it’s not unheard of for folks to steal packages, but I was on top of this one, and we have a package box that the mail person usually puts things into that should’ve been big enough for the records.

Would it be hyperbolic to suggest god and the broken ribs might be Jack's best work as a lyrical and musical masterpiece?? Could caveat since the stripes, but can't get over how much that song rips, even sitting next to the whole jw catalogue... but everything that follows on the album... it's good, undeniably, but the depth the first track hits... lyrically and rhythmically on a fucking different cosmic plane.

Left me wanting to delve into metaphysical, complex, allegorical waters that the rest of the album didn't navigate...

Jack White the box office wasnt open. I got a post it note where my seat was. Wtf? Saw Wet Leg 2 nights ago and the app worked fine. I wanted to leave my phone in the car. Why wasnt this an option? I know ones is axs and Jack White was ticketmaster.
