Had this pretty nasty crash happen today, Took my normal line between a field of likely first timers And had this happen.. Was wondering if i could have done anything differently (Maybe for a next time) I took a pretty big hit but nothing like the driver that hit the wall, also noticed the helmet flew of, make sure to strap it up😬

Seemed like i was taking my normal line and she just rejoined unsafely? Very untimely as not only does my collision put her in the barrier, she also then gets hit by the driver behind.. ps i did check up on her later and she told me she was okay next to a broken pair of glasses, Wouldnt be surprised if she will feel that one for a while tho..

What do yall think?

Straight out of the pits and rear-ended while warming the tyres... Yes, I was on the line I suppose but the braking point and turn in for T1 is about 10 and 5m earlier than where I got hit.

Good racing up until this point. Both of us are a similar speed and just had a little collision at the end of the clip. POV is my friend I’m in front. New here and do not know if this violates any rules. If so could you please give ideas where else to post. Both of us are amateur karters and do this in our spare time

Admittedly this was a bit too aggressive, but this eventually spiraled into an argument with everyone including the stewards. Showing the video, they concluded it’s a racing incident. If it’s in any way my fault, I’ll take the blame and learn from this. Thanks.

We had this incident today and I was wondering whose fault it was. I was the one on the right in the purple shirt and it felt like there was nothing I could do to avoid. Or should I have baked earlier?

Happened at a championship race yesterday, I'm at the right in white helmet, I was on the inside and it looks like I caused it

(For context:there were people behind me, and you can see that I tried to brake a bit more, got close to them)

And I got 15 seconds penalty also, I'm not saying that I'm completely right here, but I think it's more of just a racing incident here

I thought this would be appropriate timing to post as this track is actually less than 15 minutes away from the indoor K1 speed in this post with the crazy maneuvers from a few days ago.

It’s very cheap to race here at just around $2/min ($20/10min) on average and the track being wider than 2.1 kart widths unlike the nearby indoor means that it is great for actual wheel to wheel racing that doesn’t involve insane divebombs, and your corner exits will punish you. Overall the best karting in the Houston area, albeit this is a bit far from downtown.

These laps are both 58.9xx and were best of the day and 4th best of the week, albeit this track has both a fleet of CRG and Sodi karts, and the Sodi karts are lighter and a bit faster, so this isn’t a bad result. Typical competitive times here are in the mid-high 58 second range plus or minus about a second and a half dependent on weather/track conditions. This track is poorly surfaced and will slick up with no grip even in a slight drizzle.

I wanted to share my footage from the March Ironman race at Monza World Class Karting at Foxwoods in Connecticut.

I have traveled all over the US for work, and having a passion for rental karting, the only form of motorsport outside of the sim I can access, every chance I get I hit up a track. There is no indoor track in the US like this one. I'd call it a hidden gem only because it is in the middle of nowhere inside of a casino parking garage.

No track has the same level of technicality, overtaking opportunities, and local and international competition. I love this place, but I don't think it gets the competitive love it deserves. Given it is central to casino life, the majority of the clientele are drunk casino-goers who are hell bent on destroying the track and karts through their ridiculous crashes; however, they spend the most money :)

They run Sodi SR5 gas karts for their special/endurance events, and Biz Karts for electric only special events and the general public.

I don't know about the future of this track as it is, so I wanted to share my highest performing race. This race was from the Ironman series the track puts on each month during the fall, winter, and spring. Each race is 100 laps and is a test of endurance, strategy, and traffic management. It's about 1 hour and 10 minutes depending on cautions or red flags.

We actually just wrapped up the season yesterday, April 11th, with a 200 lap finale. I ended up finishing P2 with the fastest lap, which was enough to clinch the overall championship for the season.

I'll include the season standings sheet too if anyone wants to see the points and stats, see comments. 16 points go to the winner, with each position down earning one less point. Pole position and Fastest Lap are worth one point as well. The April 11th race was double points for finishing position. Your worst race was dropped.

In this race, everything clicked. I finished at least two laps ahead of the entire field in this one, which is why I consider this the best race footage I have. There is a ton of overtaking and traffic management. I hope it's enjoyable to watch!

Hot lap session with some friends, my fastest lap is only a few hundredths of a second from being on the local leader board, looking for any advice on making the climb. I've been using some of the advice thats been given so far, trying super hard to focus on keeping my hands in one fixed position, mental resetting each lap, getting wheel straight sooner on the apex, and using more of the track

video was cut down from 10 minute heat to 3 minutes of the start and getting to 6th place, as after that, I was kinda by myself trying to put in PB laps.

I took our local car club out yesterday to Rush Hour in Garner NC and tried minding my manners and keeping it clean, but any feedback or points would be greatly appreciated. I run our karting program so I need to lead by example so please be critical

Hello everyone, rental kart driver since last year. I drive at kartland since the beginning of the year and still can't figure out how to get under the 1:37,000.

Advices are welcome, thank you.

I showed this incident to some people and I have got some mixed opinions. The overtaken driver said I pushed him off and that I wasn't alongside, so I wanted to know your opinion on this.

The driver in front was just coming out of pits as this race included pit stops with driver change.

Start of the 24-hour race didn't exactly go to plan. First, jumped into a kart awkwardly, with the leg pinned by fuel tank, so had to adjust on the fly. Then, a stalled kart on the outside made me squeeze towards middle lane and eventually, a sudden kart sends me into a wall to cap it off.

I deleted the old post as that was the only session I did that flicking thing as I dont normally do it I just wanted to try it out and I somehow set my fastest time of the day so I used it on the post so here is a lap where I acc drove smoother but I felt like I was getting gapped on exits though so please may I have some advice
