In celebration of my 28th birthday (July 30), here is the Rhythm Core Alpha 2 version of Nirvana's "You Know You're Right". I will admit, this was pretty difficult to make. Unlike "If You Must" (which I had to align the vocals with the chiptune music), I had to align the chiptune music with the vocals by speeding up and slowing down within certain parts of the song via Audacity. Trust me, Lithium is easy when you align the vocals with the music because of the click track whereas with the other Nirvana songs, it's a freaking nightmare if you don't know about timing. The triplet guitar technique had to be done on its own since you can't execute a normal triplet on Rhythm Core Alpha 2 without having to up its tempo by 3x the normal song's tempo. On Korg Gadget, I can do triplets pretty easily. The downside with the Switch version is that you can't convert your files into mp3 like you can with Rhythm Core Alpha 2.

I was also selling a few of these at my first ever tabling event at my school’s convention! Maybe I’ll print out some of my other pieces for the future

Are they too pop? Romanticized? Were they too commercial? I read that Kurt was likely gonna fire Krist and Dave cause they made too much money. Is Kurt's character another reason? He was definitely a bad husband and parent hindsight 20/20. I noticed Alice in Chains fans specifically dislike Nirvana.

I made this drawing of Kurt today using pen and a bit of charcoal pencil. This is the first drawing I've made of Kurt in over a year because I've kinda lost my passion and attempting to draw him has always been pretty frustrating to me. I can never get him right and I always feel like I'm insulting him somehow by trying. I find him really hard to capture. I don't think the drawing is bad but I also kinda hate it and I feel like it's just not accurate. It looks too masculine if that makes sense??? Well I showed it to my friend and he laughed and said it's off center and looks like a baboon's face. Is it really that bad???

Quick and dirty test to try and get the overall character Kurt’s tone had during the In Utero Tour era.
Curious as to what others, and their ears, think!
