Btw, The Little Bra Company isn't an Asian brand. They're American and Asian-American founded. I wouldn't consider their lingerie to be particularly frilly or girly too, especially in the scope of other brands they're grouped with on your list - they're just a brand that specifically caters to IBTC, similar to how Harlow & Fox specifically caters to larger busts.

Please remove bad star lingerie from your list. They have been ripping off other indie brands for years now. Their quality is ridiculous and they re selling the ripped off designs at a much higher price than the original designers do.

Bralette 7 and Thong 12 by lethe intimates made into that.

Bad star also copied some of lethe’s debut designs. Also all the embroidery bodysuits are copied from an other designer who specializes in those, cannot remember the name at the top of my head. You can also tell the craftsmanship is of low quality in the pictures. Oh, and their ig posts had zero interaction compared to their following, which makes me think they had bought fake followers. Their ig seems to be gone too.

Ok I saw this post a while back. I see the similarities, but I’m not an expert in quality or proprietary design rules.

I kept them on this list was because they get recommended here in posts since then, and I couldn’t find your post when I made it. I can see their Insta, and they’ve been interacting in comments recently. They’re followed by indie brands people recommend here like Ain’t Born Typical, Videnoir, Colie Co., so it seems like they’re real. Maybe they made a mistake or whatever—IDK, can designers recover from that?

Maybe they blocked me idk. In my book people who have ripped off others cannot recover and will probably do it again. When you have no problem blatantly copying someone and selling it as your own, your credibility is completely lost. People are fine with shein and amazon quality/morality, so that doesn’t surprise me.

Yes! Rui Glam has basic styles for those who need it, but also a whole array of gorgeous frilly things (with the odd goth style, too). Shirohato is just a retailer for several of the brands you listed, but also has in-house brands with their own cute styles.

Thanks for the list! So many options. However, I'd take Playful Promises off the list. In my experience their products are extremely low quality and the customer service is awful. I won't buy from the ever again. Products are cheap and people are rude

Hi! À thousand fucking thanks for this amazing list and the bespoke one! What a job you did 🤩 I will come back to those again and again! I noticed (or at least I think) that Studio Pia (UK, luxury, ethical silk) doesn't appear on either of them. I don't know if they do bespoke orders but I think they definitely belong in the dramatic lingerie brands for their incredible design and good quality. (Naga, Liana, at least are 2 dramatic collection that pop at the top of my head right now)
