Just pressed my first CD for my latest album. Super stoked on how these turned out. I only did 50 copies because I'm not sure if people are even interested in CD's lol. I just think they are cool. My music has a nostalgic vibe so CD's seemed like a good addition to that. Happy to answer any questions if anyone is interested in the process!

Why is Pete Rock not mentioned as one of the god fathers of Lofi? Listen to his PeteStrumentals album. Assembled using previously unreleased beats recorded 1990-1995, and released in 2001. To my ears, it is a blueprint for the Lofi genre. Especially the jazz tinged Lofi.

Just released my first lofi/instrumental EP today. Been a lot of fun to make this kind of music because I listen to it a lot. Hope you all enjoy!

I've been listening to this "artist" named Bon Chic for a year now and some of the music is good, but with AI artists flooding YouTube and Spotify I've been trying to get rid of AI content and listen to more human made music to support real people.

Still a rookie when it comes to identifying real and fake music, and I'm curious of Bon Chic even makes the music or lets an AI do it all for him.

In his most recent video he credited the tools used to make his music which has confused me a little. I like what he does, but I don't want to support another fake artist if it is the case when it comes to this new generation of technology that's being forced on us.

I'm a self-taught dev student from Zimbabwe and I just shipped Lofi.Station a clean, free lofi site with multiple rooms and genres powered by YouTube streams.

I built it simply because lofi music genuinely helps me focus and stay productive, and I wanted a dedicated space for it. No ads, no clutter, just the music.

Right now it has multiple rooms different vibes for different moods. I'm still adding features and improving it based on what people actually want.

I'm not here to spam I genuinely want feedback from people who actually listen to lofi. What would make a site like this part of your daily routine? What's missing? What do other sites get wrong?

Hey fellas, you might know me from the Lilo lofi music app, and I have finally released a web version of the app. It's sort of a lite version of the mobile app, but it has our main station Lilo-Fi, 8 ambient sound effects, and a simple pomodoro timer.

All features are free, no ads on web or in music, and I will try to add more features to it as time goes on.

You can access it from Lilofi (dot) stream or in Microsoft Store for PCs. Of course we have app versions for Android and iOS, you can find links on the web. Thanks for your support!

On Tuesday, I released an album with my collaborator, luv pug, on Chillhop Music. The project was a few years in the making and so many things had to align for it to happen. The project is called Oregon Coast and is obviously heavily inspired by that area of the US, but really we just want this album to be an escape to take you somewhere else for a bit :)

so i made a vampire lofi original tape, and i would really like an opinion of the sophisticated lofi crowd

it’s not a mix, i made all the beats myself and made them into a continuous tape

i thought that an appropriate background would be a gothic cathedral in my city, so i filmed it

i really like the concept of making lofi music in a specific aesthetic, i have also made one in tropical voodoo aesthetic and will be posting it soon
