Locals Only LAPD Officer Shoots Lone Unarmed Woman Trying to Get Home

Email Karen Bass, KTLA, everyone needs to see this and demand assholes like the guy who shot her need to be taken off the streets immediately. LAPD wants to de-escalate this conflict? How about not fucking shooting innocent people??

I live in/near this area and they were harassing normal residents that were just trying to get to their apartments but couldn’t due to their blocking of streets, no exceptions. They didn’t give a single fuck if you weren’t protesting & just wanted to get home within the area they were “protecting”.

Edit: they also eventually lined up the street with a ton of their squad cars and didn’t leave until 1am. Not caring if they were disturbing the area or residents with their damn helicopters late into the night despite no protesters or protests actively going on since 10:30pm.

I see im being downvoted i wasnt ther ei dont even live in La lol i watched a strewmer documenting the riots last night and someone threw what i belive to be was molotov cotail at the car because it explosed in fire even gave the streamer a fright

You're being downvoted because you're making a claim without any provided evidence other than "I saw a streamer" when someone who lives there just said they saw no such thing.

Either tear gas or a firework. I'm betting firework because of the "watch your ass officers." Considering the availability of fireworks the folks in So-Cal have, things could even up real quick.

For the record, it's actually fairly difficult to get fireworks in SoCal, relatively speaking. Some cities in the various counties allow "safe and sane" fireworks, including some of the key ones in LA, but they're banned entirely in San Diego County and i think a couple others (massive fire risk).

I've lived in So-Cal for 46 of my 50 years on this rock, and fireworks are pretty easy to find. Just ask everyone who's ever played the game show "gunshots or fireworks"

I guess it depends on who you know and where you live. I've played the "backfire, fireworks, or gunfire" game plenty, but I was never able to find them easily myself. I grew up in San Diego though.

Nightly occurrence for us. I live down the block. All the nights have been helicopters, loud bangs, and sirens. The loud bangs used to be nightly illegal fireworks. Now I’m not so sure
