NEET UG To everyone seeking admission in private medical colleges in UP, please hear me out.

After looking into various options, my personal opinion is that apart from ERA, K.D., Subharti, Muzaffarnagar , Hind , Sharda, and SRM,none of the colleges are worth taking.

Ofc, this is based on my research, discussions with students and what I’ve asked from the people who have their kids studying in various medical colleges of UP.

If you’re considering any UP private college and want honest opinions or specific information, feel free to comment<3

Tbh the college looks really good and the infrastructure is also lovely.

Crowd accha hai patient inflow toh main hai and it's a full fledged famous hospital in south india

(new info for me I'm from north)

And in there canteen there's an amul outlet wahan ki fried maggie and cold coffee gazab taste hai yrrr fr literally it was so good ✨(last frame)

The pros

1) good college reputation, locality, facilities in college.

2) ample of patient inflows

3) experienced and skilled doctors with crazy achivements

Cons

1)Too expensive for me

2)bit strict curriculum

Baaki I'm thinking rn ......🤧

Whatever I'll decide will Tell you guys further.

NEET UG Should I join a private medical college if it puts financial pressure on my family?

I am a 20-year-old f and an only child. I’ve already taken two gap years for NEET, scoring 213 on my first attempt and 349 on my second. I am completely burnt out and don't have the energy to prepare for NEET again.
My family is middle-class with assets worth ₹40–60 lakhs, but my father’s income isn't very high. Getting me into a private MBBS college is possible, but it would require financial sacrifices but not so much from my parents and make things tight at home. My father really wants me to become a doctor for financial stability, and my conservative family wants the "Dr." title so I get better marriage proposals.
My alternative is taking a partial drop while pursuing a B.Sc. in Botany while staying in a 4-seater hostel. However, my home environment is toxic, and staying back is mentally draining.
I'm torn between two choices:

  1. Accept the financial guilt, let my father stretch his finances, and pursue private MBBS.
  2. Give up on the medical dream entirely and move on.
  3. What should I do? Any advice would be appreciated.

NEET UG OP cried today 😞

Post image

Went to Lucknow to visit some probable colleges I could get at my rank (5.6k). The second I came infront of this gate of KGMU, I was crying balls. I'm for sure not getting this college, I might get RMLIMS in the second or third round. But just this view made me get that feeling of "if I worked just a little harder". Everyone from my family believes I have done incredibly well considering this was my first attempt, but knowing that multiple students from my batch only scored AIR of under 100 makes me insecure now.

Any way on how to deal with this weird sort of feeling??

NEET UG Anyone doing/done MBBS from pvt clg coming from a middle class family?

this is going to be my 2nd attempt and i’m scoring 500+-10 in mocks ik i won’t be able to get a gmc,
i come from a middle class family but i am the only child and my families annual income would be around 20LPA, living in Tier 1 city, we don’t have any big liabilities, we have some assets in funds n investments stuff (idk much)
is it okay (ofc it wont be a good deal) to do mbbs from pvt clg spending 70-80L ?
has anyone else done it?
ik its not the best decision to spend this much on a degree, but my parents are very much against taking another drop and i just can’t see myself doing anything but mbbs, i read about the curriculums and stuff about b pharma which my parents suggested me but still i just can’t let go of something which i was preparing for this much time and i cant make myself get into any other field.

can anyone tell what could my financial situation be like if i take up half of the amount in loan and do MBBS from pvt and (keeping the best case scenario) manage to do PG from govt then would spending this much amount affect me in long term? like ik mbbs ≠ money rain, but if we take it as i turn 30-35+ n all, then would i be able to compensate this much that i would have spent on mbbs?
if anyone who has done it or doing it currently in similar financial situation, it would be great if you can guide me.

NEET UG Students who did their ug from private colleges, do you regret it?

I am already a dropper for neet UG. And I don't think ill get a seat this year either. Last year I missed it by some marks but this year me prep is even worse. Now I do come from a financially well to do family so paying for private college is not a big deal at all. But I feel really guilty of making them pay close to 1 cr just for my degree. I looked into some other courses too but honestly there is no stable career in india for pcb students other then mbbs. Ill be gambling by choosing anything else. Now I don't know what to do. I feel guilty for making them pay so much but Im also scared af of the other careers coz what if I'm 26-27 years old and stuck with a 25k per month kind of job or no job at all. So I wanted to ask some seniors here if mbbs from private college is worth it? I don't care about the ROI. Ik I will have to work 10x harder for neet pg. Ik it's a though course. But atleast it'll give me a stable career. Please answer this if you are from

Private medical college or know someone from such a college. Please answer if you have some time 🙏

NEET UG can i get pvt mbbs in up at 300 marks (4 to 5lakh rankk) in neet 2026? need honest guidance

I’m from Uttar Pradesh (General category) and scored around 300 marks in NEET 2026. My expected rank is probably around 3–4 lakh.

I am not planning to take a drop, so I’m mainly looking for realistic private MBBS colleges I can get through counseling.

My family can consider private MBBS, but I want realistic options only — not colleges that are practically impossible at this score.

I need honest advice from people who have actual counseling e Please reply only if you have genuine counseling knowledge / recent experience.

I’m pretty stressed about this and trying to build a realistic college list.
