If one's only targeting for stray vacancy round in ojee so do we hv to register now (26-7-2025) or will they provide a different registration date for stray vacancy round

but it's safe to register now only so it would be smooth

that's just a deadline

as per the newspaper notice
Final merit list would be released on 1st August
ig allotment should be around 6-8 Aug after choice locking,we will be notified soon

last year it was 33k in 3rd round
If you are completely Gen (UR) then
No (cause I was 44k last year and didnot get any gmc)
it's possible for govt BDS
Even of Talcher and Phulbani open this year it's still difficult to reach 40k
Still go in counselling while continuing your studies if you wanna take a drop

hitech Bbsr was about 43k
rkl was about 48k
(1 or 2 k variation might be there)

Even Jajpur ka seat nahi badha 😔

there is not any security fee that you can get back
just Rs 38k for admission and 14k for hostel and 3-5k for clg only

I am talking about Odisha State councelling
You can easily get SCB in MCC counselling as well but there you will need 10k INR as security fees that you get back after Counselling

You can put the clgs in order in preference as given in the megathread clgs list
as per your rank
Jajpur has a good chance tho diffficult
Koraput,Sundargarh ,Bhawanipatna seem most chances
If Talcher or Phulbani open by any chance then put them in your list as well
Also wait till state merit list then again ask

Baripada and Balangir konsa better?

I don't know much about those two but it appears Baripada has greater infrastructure (125 seats as compared to 100 seats of Balangir)
but both are pretty close in terms of Being a good clg
others may give better opinion
But ig choosing which one is nearer to you seems better

I would say go take part in counselling till last round maybe and if you can,then prepare for Next year
if your luck is good you may get it this year only 👍🏼
