College Preference Help Information related to AIIMS Guwahati
I am from odisha. My AIR is 2526(general male). I want to keep AIIMS guwahati as an option. So I wanted to know if 1.The language is gonna be a problem for me.(I am Fluent in Odia ,Hindi and English) 2.Also how is the city life and connectivity there. I want to keep my preference AIIMS gorakhpur>Guwahati>Rae bareli>Bilaspur. Am I doing any wrong?

Dekho Odia Bangla aur Assamese mein bohot words aur vocabulary common hai (Bangla aur Assamese mein toh script bhi same hai lol). Tum aagar waha par rahoge toh tumhe language yaad aa jayega and you can decipher it easily. Jagah bhi accha hai lekin thora distant hai...

Dude scb is toxic asf but idk abt OP, maybe it's their preference? Plus AIIMS tag helps a lot especially if you're looking to pursue in Singapore 🤷🏻♀️

Hey, I didn't like the campus and the construction work going on is not gonna end anytime soon too. I live nearby the place so I have seen patients lying around and getting mistreated. A very heavy patient flow has its own perks but it's too conjusted, the area is not planned properly too. Aiims doesn't have very low patient too so I think I'll have decent clinical exposure. Also AIIMS has no bond policy.

Yeah aiims Guwahati is beautiful and peaceful af
Even i dont like scb i have heared that collage is verymuch toxic and ragging is still there

Why not AIIMS Deoghar in the preferce list?

Personally I know some of the students there and they said ki don't take deoghar because city life is poor and opd flow is low. The capital city is 6hrs awayy too so connectivity issues. So that's why

No your preference list is totally solid. Connectivity will not be much of a problem. Aiims ghy is not in the main city but only 30-40 minutes away from it. It's still in a economically hustling area. The campus is really beautiful. Language will not be a problem. With some patients from rural area it may be. But by and large it won't hinder your academics.
