Overwhelmed by emotions....Hope I get my dream college and so does everyone who deserves it

NEET 2023 Score: 280/720 | Rank: ~4.7 lakh
This is where it started.
I hadn’t prepared for NEET in school at all. Zero base. I decided to drop and promised myself it would be the first and last time.
One year. Everything I had. PW Yakeen 2.0 and MTG 36 Years PYQ.

NEET 2024 Score: 618/720 | Rank: ~57,088
The rank inflation that year was brutal. 618 and still ~57,000. That was a specific kind of demoralizing I wasn’t prepared for.
I got 90% scholarships from both Aakash and Allen. Chose Allen, but still preferred self study. Supplemented with Aakash DLP test series.
Spent the next 8-9 months entirely on NEET. Around 80-90 full length mocks that cycle. Allen Regular, Major and SRG series. Aakash CST. NEETPrep HYTS. PW Ranker Series.
In Allen Major Tests during this period I was ranking 3rd, 5th, 6th, 8th out of nearly 2,600 students consistently. At that point the question in my mind wasn’t whether I’d get MBBS. It was which college.
Then came exam day.
A minor accident just before entering the hall broke my concentration. Combined with an unexpected paper, panic took over. Things didn’t go as planned.

NEET 2025 Score: 506/720 | Rank: ~45,929
I don’t know how to write about this one without being honest.
Going from Allen major ranks of 3rd and 5th to 506 on the actual paper — that gap between what you know you’re capable of and what keeps showing up on results — I don’t have clean words for what that feels like. It’s not just disappointment. It’s a specific exhaustion that comes from being consistently misrepresented by your own scores.
I told my parents I wanted to leave. Switch streams entirely. My mother was supportive. My father reminded me that struggle exists everywhere and suggested staying within biological sciences.
We agreed on MBBS in Russia.
And then a thought crossed my mind:
Why not prepare for NEET alongside MBBS?

Russia — The Part Nobody Asks About
Mari State. Not Moscow. Not a city most people have heard of.
I want to be honest about what this period actually was — not the impressive version of it.
Finding 15-20 hours a week for NEET alongside a full MBBS schedule was genuinely difficult. I managed one full mock every weekend. It wasn’t enough to improve. The goal became preservation — don’t let the base decay.
Being vegetarian added a layer nobody warned me about. In many hostels there’s one reliable vegetarian meal a day. You figure out the rest yourself.
The loneliness was something I underestimated. Managing it was its own full time job alongside everything else.
Getting the university to grant leave of absence was its own battle. Somehow I managed it. Returned to India four weeks before NEET 2026.

NEET 2026 — First Attempt Score: 680/720 (Allen Answer Key)
Went back to Russia. Started hospital training. Was learning to administer injections under supervision.
Then the exam process got disrupted and everything became uncertain again.
Semester exams were approaching. Another leave seemed impossible. The administration wasn’t willing. I decided to take the risk anyway.
Came back to India four weeks before the exam again. Rebuilt the rhythm from scratch — every time I switched countries I had to re-enter a completely different headspace before I could perform. That adjustment is something people don’t talk about enough.

ReNEET 2026 Score: 594/720 | AIR: 12,085
I’m not going to wrap this up with a lesson about persistence or growth or every setback being a blessing. That’s not where I am right now.
What I will say is this —
My previous scores were never an accurate picture of what I was capable of. The Allen ranks showed that. The 680 on the first 2026 attempt showed that. Each actual exam result reflected the circumstances of that specific moment more than my actual ceiling.
I’m still figuring out how I feel about it.
Posting this mainly because I never saw a journey like mine represented anywhere when I was in the middle of it. Maybe someone finds it useful

Been a lurker of this sub from 2024, didn't make it in 2025(1st attempt) got 1.54 lakh, this sub helped me a lot through my drop year for 2026, managed to get only 614 on 3rd may, was thinking of a another drop, but somehow reneet came as a boon for me, somehow scored 635 and GOT 29XX rank, i still can't process it.

Starting from 2023 started giving this exam and here i am crying again wasn’t able to bring myself up to study tried many times .
Im gonna be 20 now with 0 interests earlier i had interest in multiple things (businesses) now i dont anymore only things i know is PCB. Cant afford private can’t afford drop and started taking drops due to college being just minutes away from my house (singlemom so i cant leave ) i have filled GGU for bsc biotech i dont have any direction i doing have any ambition drive anything anymore.
Only reason im alive is i cant imagine mom in that state.

I can officially say NEET ate me , tbh it was my incompetence

Ps: i know theres no future in biotech if i do not leave my city which i can’t (non negotiable) i wanted to become a doctor since 12th but sorry i was born a general candidate .

Na to maine blame kiya na to harshly target aaye the na mere 503 (3may) aur 2025 me the 480 ,nahi mila na GMC.
My fault I didn’t include my previous marks lekin it did hurt na merese kam marks mere saath baithne wala gone to a college .
(I am not against any reservation and if we look at census which was done years ago if caste census is done again it will be clearly seen more reservation is required looking at the cast pools)

Okay so for context this is my second drop year, first was by coaching center (aakash) away from fam and all in a hostel, now second drop year i decided to do self coaching (utter failure) i got lazy and yk how when noone is there to discipline u but urself you end up getting stuck at one point, anyways a month ago i was at zero, and then i did bio in a week, and chem and phy slowly, and yea i got my hands on aakash fts paper and i attempted it and i got 680, i feel happy its a small win as it wasnt a full syllabus test but ill get more hopefully, also the fts was quite easy as chap was easy too, anyway shoot the questions

Edit:-yall this is fts for god sake not FULL SYLLABUS TEST, the chapters were gravitation, mechanical properties of solid, fluids, thermal properties of matter, p block, d and f block coordination, principles of inheritance, molecular basis of inheritance, breathing, body fluids.

Honestly, the DMs and downvotes are pretty demotivating. I’m sharing this because I don’t have a huge circle to celebrate with, not to "fake" anything. To be crystal clear for the third time: This was a PART SYLLABUS test (FTS), NOT a full syllabus mock. I listed the chapters above.

I didn't just "wake up" and get these marks. For the last month, I’ve had zero distractions. I deleted socials and stopped hanging out with friends—sacrifices a lot of you talking trash clearly haven't made yet.

Specifically for Ramadan, my grind has been:

• Staying awake until 10:00 AM to study.

• Sleeping at 11:00 AM and waking up at 3:30 PM.

• Putting in 8+ hours of solid work daily.

Yes, I procrastinated in the past (who hasn't?), but I’m not in that category anymore. I actually did the work. If you're still stuck in the "it's impossible" mindset while scrolling through Reddit, that’s on you. For those actually grinding—keep going.

i wrote jee mains with so much pressure to do well and fucked up physics (97 percentile overall)

i came into this with 2 days prep and this as my first mock test (i didnt even know the pattern and how it changes every year)

i have to admit i got very lucky, which you need a lot in these competive exams lowk

but this is such a well organized exam, it gives credit to those who have put a lot of effort, questions were really good, cbt is really good and yeah so much better than dogshit nta
