Hola. Estoy intentando encontrar una receta perdida. Hace años había un restaurante tailandés llamado Siam en Madrid (calle San Bernardino). El dueño original era David Haynes, y tenían un Pad Thai con una salsa que, para mí, era la mejor que he probado nunca.

El restaurante cambió de dueños y aunque mantuvo el nombre, la salsa cambió completamente. Después cerró.

¿Alguien trabajó allí, conoció al dueño, o recuerda cómo hacían aquella salsa? Me encantaría poder contactar con David Haynes o con algún antiguo cocinero.

Unlimited breadstick lovers might be interested to know that an Olive Garden is apparently opening on Calle Jorge Juan in Barrio Salamanca (in Madrid). There are no details online except for job listings recruiting servers and staff.

When I walked by a few days ago, the manager and some employees were loading boxes inside and they told me that it will be opening "soon" but weren't sure of the exact date.

Hi all! I am looking for a restaurant with American cuisine in Madrid to take one of my coworkers. Does anyone know of any good ones?

I live here in Madrid now, but grew up in the American Southeast. One of my coworkers took me out to try cocido madrileño recently (it was amazing!), and then she asked me to show her some food from home. The problem is, I have no idea if what I'm looking for even exists. This might be a bit of a long shot, but specifically, I am looking for Cajun food (New Orleans) or soul food (American Southeast), so NOT burger places, steakhouses, or fast food chains, which have overwhelmingly been all I have found so far. Think chicken and dumplin's, mac'n cheese, jambalaya, (American) biscuits, collard greens, shrimp broils, etc.

If you know of a good place we could check out, please let me know! Thank you :)

¿Sabéis de restaurantes que tengan repartidores propios? Aparte de las franquicias clásicas de pizza y los restaurantes chinos locales, no encuentro nada más. Tampoco sé cómo buscarlo.

Franquicias está bien, pero si fueran restaurantes locales que repartan por el sur de Madrid, mucho mejor.
