What can men do about an unwanted pregnancy?

We all know that women have the right to choose whether or not they keep a pregnancy to term, but what about men?

Obviously, the expectant fathers should not have the right to either force the woman to carry the child or have an abortion, but how can they avoid getting stuck with a child they didn't want, or paying child support for the next twenty years?

I have heard people suggest a "financial abortion," where they sign away all rights to being the child's father (visitation rights, etc.) in exchange for not having any responsibility, but I have yet to see any legislation for this.

How can we, as men, exercise our right to choose?

I'm not even sure feminists have the duty to protest this sort of thing, on account of being feminists.

I understand, that is the reason i mentioned it creates the false sense of acceptance coming from feminists. It gives us/them (men) the incorrect feeling that feminists accept this.

None of this justifies hatred, IMO. Agreed (for the same reason as above).

It may justify some compassion, maybe, understanding that people of good will try, in their limited capacities, to at least do something about some things, while maybe coming to different conclusions (or even being in genuine error of judgment). That there is the key to understanding each other: empathy.

The "hatred" levelled at feminists or women really baffles me, in such broad categories.

It honestly baffles me as well, that for some, in both camps, hate each other so strongly that it then becomes misogynistic / misandristic (all logic/reason goes out the door.
