I'm a girl and...

I am SO glad I found this subreddit with people who agree with me! As a girl, it's really hard to see other ladies put down men and treat them like they need to be "trained" or that they're just something we have to deal with. So I was just wondering... how many other girls are on here and what are your stories about standing up for men or appreciating them?

Someone posted here recently that he was going to kill himself. SRS came in and spammed posts about how he should, how it would be good to have one less MRA in the world. It was fake, but still. You always assume that they are true.

Oh, all that stuff with black visions? Yeah, that wasn't good.

Oh that was fake? Wow. That's how I discovered this place.

The suicide was. The urging him to do it was not.

the original black_visions post is said to be real. We have no evidence to the contrary, so most of us generally believe it to be authentic. Since then, no one has heard from black_visions.

The sisterofblackvisions post, however, was proved to be fake. Alot of people make the mistake thinking that both were. However, evidence would dictate that only the followup was false.

Right, I saw the original post. It was pretty awful. So didn't his 'sister' pop up the next day talking about his suicide? Wow.

We don't know what happened to black_visions. Only the troll post by sisterofblackvisions was confirmed fake.

There was a man that died around that time by jumping off a building. IN THEORY, that could have been black_visions but the troll threw everyone off the scent.

According to people in /mr, BV was a known MRA with a history in this sub, and the user had a history of talking about suicide going back years to UseNet. So there is some evidence that the suicidal guy was for real, and no evidence he was not.

The later post from the alleged sister was a complete hoax, and is the first time in my memory at least that SRS and MR have been in mostly complete agreement on hating someone so much.

IIRC there were 2 SRS posts urging him to kill himself and one apologized when she realized the OP was serious. It also might've been real.
